Meet Foxy!
This sweet, laid-back 2 year old Mastiff girly had a great time during her recent Dog's Day Out adventure with one of her favorite staff members!! Foxy was super well behaved riding in the car and absolutely loved making new friends with all the people and kids who wanted to meet her!

Initially a little nervous about kennel life, this gorgeous girl is building confidence daily and is showing her loving, sweet nature more and more. Foxy longs to have a family of her own that will be committed to loving her unconditionally. Foxy does have hip dysplasia, but our PAWsome vet staff has been managing it for her and she's feeling so much better!

If you love Mastiffs and can give this amazing girl the home of her dreams, please consider opening your heart to her. We do offer supervised meet and greets to best ensure a good match is made. For any homes bringing in a new furry addition, we always recommend ongoing supervision and slow, safe incorporation. To apply to adopt phenomenal Foxy, please go to:

🚨 FOUND ANIMALS - November 24, 2025 🚨

The following animals were found in our community and brought to our shelter as strays, seeking to reunite with their potential owners. Please browse each photo and description carefully to see if you recognize any of these furry friends!

If you would like to help these animals find their way back home (or provide more information), here’s what you can do:

📲 CONTACT US: If you recognize any of these animals or have any information about their potential owners, please contact us immediately. Call our front desk at (717) 764-6109 ext. 101 and leave a message or email us at [email protected].

🔗VIEW ALL FOUND ANIMALS: All found animals are updated daily on our website: https://ycspca.org/resources/lost-found-pets/

👏 SHARE: Many followers have been saying Facebook does not allow you to share our posts. Many people have had success, including a caption when they share them to prevent Facebook from taking them down. We encourage you to try this!

** PLEASE NOTE: These animals are NOT AVAILABLE for adoption yet. If we cannot locate their owners, our staff will work to fully evaluate them and make them available on our website. In the meantime, please complete a general adoption application on our website https://ycspca.org/adopt/ to become pre-approved. ✅

You can help the animals in our care by becoming a foster! Visit our website https://ycspca.org/get-involved/foster-program.html to fill out a foster application for a dog, cat, or small/exotic animal. The York County SPCA assumes all financial and medical responsibility for our foster animals, so all you have to provide is your home and lots of love! 🏠❤

Meet Cassette 🤍🖤
Guesstimated to be about 2 years old, Cassette was found as a stray and never reclaimed. Initially a little reserved around new people, Cassette warms up once she knows she's safe with you. This gorgeous girl walks well on lead, is super food-motivated and longs to feel loved. Cassette even has a blast running zoomies in the play yards!

Cassette would prefer to live with older children and be the only pet in her furever home. For any homes bringing in a new furry addition, we always recommend ongoing supervision and slow, safe incorporation.

Not to be dramatic… but Nigel might be the cutest thing to ever exist. 🐾😩💛
Those eyes, that little face, the way he sits like he knows he’s adorable? Yeah. We’re all obsessed.

Someone please come adopt this tiny heartthrob before we faint!

🐾 Diabetes Awareness Month: Help Us Support Pets Who Need Extra Care 🐾

Diabetic pets are just as loving, resilient, and deserving of a second chance — they simply need a little more support along the way. 💙 This month, we’re sharing how the YCSPCA cares for diabetic animals and how YOU can make a life-changing difference for them.

Read our latest blog post to learn more about the challenges diabetic pets face and how your compassion helps them thrive: 🔗https://ycspca.org/blog/diabetes-awareness-month-supporting-diabetic-pets-at-the-york-county-spca/

We’re also looking for foster families with experience caring for diabetic pets. If you’re comfortable with insulin routines, monitoring symptoms, and providing patient, gentle care, you could be the lifeline a pet needs!

November is Diabetes Awareness Month, a time dedicated to education, early detection, and compassionate care for individuals living with diabetes—including

Meet Troy, the definition of a gentle soul. 💛

He may start off a little shy, but with patience, calm energy, and a cozy spot to nap, this sweet boy truly blossoms. Troy has lived with both cats and respectful dogs, and would love a quiet home where he can feel safe and loved at his own pace.

If you’re looking for a soft, steady companion who will adore you once he trusts you, Troy is your guy. 🔗https://ycspca.org/animals/troy/
