👑SUCCESSFUL ADOPTION ALERT 👑

A Fresh Start, A Regal Name: Magnus Has Arrived 👑👑👑

Magnus (formerly known as Thor) has officially arrived at his forever home—and with it came an upgraded name.

They chose to call him Magnus, a name of German origin with a strong Swedish influence. Since boxers are a German breed—and his forever family lives in an area heavily influenced by Swedish culture—they felt the name was especially fitting. They also loved that it has a regal sound, which definitely suits their boy—and he responds to it like he's always had it ❤️

Things are going great for Magnus, and he is adjusting really well to his new home.
He and his new dog-brother are getting along great, and he’s been loving his new life.

His days consist of:

🐾 Running around his yard (his kingdom 👑)
🐾 Taking walks
🐾 Barking at the deer, squirrels, and turkeys
🐾 Taking naps nearby while his family works at home
🐾 Visiting a local dog resort for playtime—and doing great with other dogs
🐾 Enjoying swims in the kiddie pool

He loves to wrestle and snuggle up, and he’s been a wonderful addition to their family 💙🐶

🚨🏠Hi everyone! Do we have anyone in who is capable and confident for medical care?😷

Millie needs to move fosters due to family things that need attention in her foster home and also because she needs daily bandage changes AT the vet for the foreseeable future. It takes time to heal from the inside out! We're hoping the vet can teach the new foster how to do the bandage changes so she doesn't need to go in daily as that's quite stressful.

She is also needing rehab exercises and restriction for her other leg w her recent tplo surgery. Poor girl! 😰

We think a calmer home is best as she can't play with other dogs right now. She is dog friendly but i can't imagine she'll feel very friendly if she's bumped into by a rambunctious pup. We'd prefer she is gated into a small space where she can't move around a lot, but still has room to easily adjust herself, unlike a crate.

🚨SUCCESSFUL ADOPTION STORY AHEAD🚨 🤖The Roomba is now out of a job.🤖

The Kientzy Family has always been a house full of dog lovers - living about an hour west of the metro, they had two Boxers, Toby and Cooper. Toby passed in December from old age, and they unexpectedly lost Cooper in March. The house felt very empty without them… at one point, they would watch the Roomba for entertainment.🤖😅🤦‍♀️

Life got interesting through when they recently welcomed Nala and Eddie into their home (because one boxer is never enough!). This bonded pair has settled in quickly to their new home. Nala loves her cuddles, and Eddie is a total goofball.

They spend their days running complex drills like "chase the laser light", along with Nala's specialty "sit with her ball in her mouth" ⚾ and Eddie's incredibly demanding role of "attempt to catch the birds"🐦 (spoiler - 0 birds caught). The Roomba now just does its sweeping job without an audience. 😢🤖

This new family is still getting to know each other, but it’s already going so well.
They are excited for the years ahead—and can’t wait until Eddie and Nala fully realize that they are indeed in their forever home. 🏡🐶
