Ponyo ❤️
Ponyo needs a super committed Cavalier adopter. This darling girl has been passed around so much and it’s breaking our hearts. She was originally in a Nevada shelter and was apparently adopted but she was too playful with their old dog so they returned her. Then she was fostered by a vet and his wife with a bunch of other dogs and did great before being transferred to a rescue partner who sent her to us. We found her a loving home but she didn’t warm up to the man and came back. Then she was adopted again but had accidents in the house and came back again. She didn’t have accidents in her Dogwood foster home but we are very diligent and set her up to win. She needs a committed adopter willing to do everything she needs, with our support, to build her confidence and help her succeed.
Ponyo is very quiet, gentle and easy to handle but takes time to come out of her shell in a new place. She gets along well with other dogs and is spayed, crate trained, sleeps quietly all night etc. Shes only 1-2 years old and around 14 pounds.
