Mission Statement
The mission of Westfield Stray Cat Rescue is:
1. To rescue stray and abandoned cats and kittens and provide shelter, health care, and basic necessities until permanent, responsible, and loving homes are found for them.
2. To promote respect and compassion for all creatures through example and education.
3. To educate the public about the problems of the stray cat overpopulation and possible solutions.

Remember sweet Iris who was rescued from a pipe? A month later the pieces fell into place - the stray young female cat being fed for months in that neighborhood; the 2 Iris look-alike kittens spotted in back yards, driveways, often with their mom. WSCR Sensei Trapper/Rescuer Carol patiently coaxed the 3 felines out of their rough existence. This feline family is safe, mom GeorgieGirl has been spayed. Nice kitties - a few of the luckier ones.

9/2/25 - If ya snooze ya lose - Festus, Mr. Gotta-Hug-You-and-have-a-chat, has been adopted. He's going to live w Zoe, who was adopted last year.
