Couple extra goodies available at the Farm Stand this week folks. First Snap Peas coming off, some Pointy Cabbages because why not?! Oh and not shown we now have some Orange Carrots with the odd rainbow carrot due to Dan mixing the seed by accident 🤦‍♂️ Anyway, come stock up if you’d like. We will here through Sunday. Mid week update folks! Wee bit soupy weather wise at the moment 🌧️ but work at Kiwi Roots continues on. Managed to get the remainder of our Leek in. Next challenge - keep it protected from miner pest 🫣 Last year I pulled out insect netting too soon and it bit me in the butt! Anyway, you’ll see that our Tomatoes are coming along. Our Snap Peas are oh so close! Maybe some this week 🤞I haven’t talked about it yet (because i wasn’t sure they were going to work out 🤪) but it looks like we will have some Celery joining the party soon! Also some Fennel, Zucchini and Spuds getting super close. Don’t forgot to stop by the Farm Stand this week for a variety of fresh, locally grown veggies. Cheers Dan .grown

Another week racing by folks 😅 Don’t miss your chance to grab Garlic Scapes while they are in season. Great for grilling, pesto, sautéed, pickled and probably many other ways to use these beauties! Another week wrapped up folks! Thanks to everyone for your continued support. We know you have plenty of great, local options for veggies , so we appreciate you choosing us 😋 Each week more crops mature and find their way to the Farm Stand. Before we know it we will have Snap Peas, Zucchini and our favorite treat Tomatoes! I also wanted to share some pictures of the multiple stages of our crimped Winter Rye that is now planted out in Winter Squash. This the last big Spring planting and almost our last beds to be planted out. Next up on the planting list - Ginger! Have a nice remainder of your Sunday. Cheers Dan .grown

Hey folks! Busy few days here. Lot’s of crops going in each week. This week it is Peppers, Winter Squash, Beans, Lettuce and so forth. I also wanted to say a big thank you to Victoria who has been helping me out on Tuesday mornings. She has been potting up, weeding, helping trellis Tomatoes and generally any job that needs done she gets after it no problem. Many hands make light work as they say 😋 Thanks Victoria. Hey folks. Thursday already?! Mother nature has stayed consistent with yet another wet start to the Farm Stand this week ☔️ However, crops are doing well and coming along nicely. It won’t be long now until we have some Rainbow Carrots and Garlic Scapes! Happy Friday folks. I am sure everyone is looking forward to the long weekend, so make sure you stop by the Farm Stand to stock up on some beautiful Red Lettuce, Romaine or our Lettuce Mix that consist of 4 different butter leafs and 4 crisp leaf varieties. First round of Cukes are in! They also have an extra layer of cozy since it’s going to be a little cooler the next couple of nights. Otherwise everything is growing and doing it’s thing. Lot’s of plantings have gone in and all our beds are pretty much full. Egg plants, peppers to go in very soon! Whoop whoop! 🙌Also can’t wait to get the Ginger out of the nursery but will be another week or so at least 🤔 Hope everyones week has been a goody thus far. Cheers Dan .grown
