Hey folks. Hope everyone is soaking up the amazing sun we have been having! I am ok with it sticking around 🤪 In this picture you’ll see a couple of freshly planted beds with Winter Rye. These beds previously had Carrots growing but i had to make the tough call to turn them under due to disease.. Have to say all the rain this summer really did negatively impact our potatoes and Fall Carrots more than ever but alas what do you besides look ahead to next year and perhaps change the game plan. Ideally, if I had given these more space we might’ve been ok but it has never really been an issue but such is the challenge of growing crops 🙃 Anyway, we do have some beds that are doing ok, so before we wrap the farm season there will be some Carrots at the Stand. Before I wrap I just want to say thank you to everyone that continues to support us right to the end! We are so grateful for all of you helping make this an amazing Farm season.
