Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit organization with a mission to stop the proliferation of homeless cats living hard lives and struggling to find food and shelter on the streets of our local communities. We have all the cats we rescue spayed or neutered, vaccinated, given thorough health exams, and tested for feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). At our no-kill shelter, we provide nutritious food, warm beds and expert care to as many cats as possible with the goal of finding them permanent, loving homes. We release feral cats into managed colonies where they are fed and sheltered.

"Manny came to us and he was in rough shape. He’s recovered very well and as he has settled in, his personality has really started to show. Manny has the personality of a “rags to riches” character from a movie. You’d never know that he came to us looking like he went a few rounds with Mike Tyson and a mule. He’s not the type of guy to talk about his past. He’s very much a guy who is grateful for what he has now and knows it’s only gonna get better from here. He’s a very sweet boy who loves everything about people. He is very friendly and every time we give him a treat or a Churu he looks at us like “this is for ME?! 🥺”

If you’re looking for a kitty with a super round head who gives the best noggin boops, look no further. Manny is your guy. He might take a little while to warm up to you but once he does, you can’t help but feel the gratitude just radiating off him. He’s a low maintenance fella who’s just happy to be treated with kindness… and a few scritches between his ears."

Our kitties will be looking out for you tomorrow during our Open House Event from 11am-2pm. Come meet our greeters, snugglers, chatters, players, zoomers, lickers, snoozers, cuddlers, leg rubbers, shy hiders and sun beamers. Come meet them all at 153 Horse Hill Rd in Westbrook CT.

It is hard to believe, but we are running out of treats!!! The Churu and Squeeze Up treats have been the number one tool to socialize our new and shyest kitties. Given on a finger or straight from the tube, these treats allow us to get close and get the kitties use to our presence, our touch and hopefully we can gain their trust. We also need the Party Mix treats for thse kitties who prefer a crunch to their treat. Thank you to anyone who wants to help by donating!

Look at these lovable 1 year olds for you to meet! We hopefully have happy news soon about 2 of them, but 4 of them are looking for families of their own too! Kirande, the biggest boy, is a stripy sweetheart who absolutely adores the others, giving them head bops especially to his best friend Bubbles. Bruno (orange and white darling) and Misty (tabby with white sweetie) love their friends too and you can often find them all in cuddle puddles.

If you want a friendly fella that will make everyday Funday, Gizmo is your guy! Always dressed immaculately is his white pristine coat with playful black markings, Gizmo is ready to join in any activity or chore. He likes to greet the volunteers at the door and watches out for them to make sure they come in and visit. 4 year old Gizmo would love his very own family to charm and hopes you come visit him too!
