Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit organization with a mission to stop the proliferation of homeless cats living hard lives and struggling to find food and shelter on the streets of our local communities. We have all the cats we rescue spayed or neutered, vaccinated, given thorough health exams, and tested for feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). At our no-kill shelter, we provide nutritious food, warm beds and expert care to as many cats as possible with the goal of finding them permanent, loving homes. We release feral cats into managed colonies where they are fed and sheltered.

We ❤️ Volunteer Videos!

Jillian sent us this one of sweet Silky! She is a long-haired beauty who came to the shelter because her owners moved away and left her outside to live in the woods. Silky loves her people and wants the comfort and safety of her very own home. You can always spot her sitting on the little bench by the door, or peering out the glass hoping you will come in. She just turned 9 years old. Come by and meet her at our next Open House Event July 12th! (Please note that we are closed this Saturday for the holidays!)

Open House Events are Saturdays from 11am-2pm (closed on July 5). 153 Horse Hill Rd, Westbrook. No appointment necessary. Call 860-669-1347 or use our online adoption request form on our ADOPT page:

3 year old Zest is another one of the 3 new sweet boys in our Green Room. This beautiful buffy boy is a gentle guy who loves attention, snuggles and pets. Zest has perfect polydactyl paws too! Come meet this darling guy and all of his new pals!

We are NOT OPEN this Saturday for the holiday, but will be open again Saturday July 12th!

Fudgie! This very handsome guy is another of our new boys in the Green Room you met when he first came in. As his name suggests, Fudgie is full of yummy sweetness and is a delicious darling. His dark golden eyes are set off spectacularly against his dark rich fur and he has a wonderful friendly manner. He is 6 1/2 years old. Come meet him and all of his new buddies!

We have a bunch of new boys in our Green Room and Patrick is one you have not yet met! He is just 2 years old, full of friendly fun and oh so handsome too! Patrick is very curious guy and is having a ball exploring his new digs. Patrick has oodles of personality and just makes you laugh at his antics. Come by and meet this gorgeous guy!
