This is the last filly we have left for right now!!! I’m out of town Friday & my poor non horsey mother has to take care of horses so I’d love to move this girl by the weekend!!!! She is arguably my favorite one in the barn. She is sooo sweet, talks to you all day, and just loves attention. She is 15.2/15.3hh. Not huge, but extremely athletic with a beautiful trot!! I took time out of my busy day to interview a very solid (so it seemed) candidate to take care of our farm 3 days a week, plus random days we need when we are out of town - aka plenty of opportunities to make extra money… we pay a very reasonable amount for an entry level farm hand who is very part time. This is not a full time job.

Said candidate had a working interview and was told the pay, etc, upon completion. She was seemingly okay with it and confirmed she wanted the job. 24ish hours later I texted her again to ask if she truly did want to set up a schedule…. And she told me that pay was not sufficient enough. That she was looking to be paid $2,000 per month for my 3 day a week gig 😬😬😬😬

My flabber…. Is gasted. Hunny I can barely pay my own bills what you mean I need to pay yours too??

Is this the norm????? Do stall cleaners really expect to be paid 30+$/ hour?????

My job takes at max 3 hours and that’s if you really jack around and p**s around on your phone.

Cannot believe these are the two left. 🤷‍♀️ the market is crazy sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, the ones who have been placed have been NICE, but so are these girls.

The little bay filly is the SWEETEST girl with a huge trot. She’s only 15.2/15.3hh but she is going to be super fancy and a really competitive horse for someone!!

The bigger liver chestnut filly is also a doll. She’s REALLY quiet. She has a really long and slow type of trot. I think she will make a lovely hunter or pleasure type horse for someone!!!

This is another lovely filly, she has a pretty way of moving and is really easy going. Has a quiet and easy temperament. Absolutely loves being loved on, and loves nose kisses. Pretty in your pocket type of girl. Just not cut out for racing and is ready for a new career. Has no limitations! Does everything right on the ground, and under saddle. She should be a really easy restart for someone! Still has some growing and filling out to do.

This is a big chonky guy who has a lot of personality. He’s sooo sweet and kind. A little pushy on the ground but that’ll go away. I think this guy would benefit from a couple weeks off to let his muscles relax and stretch out from the track. He jogs sound but is pretty tight all through his body. He’s excellent to do everything with and was a nice gallop on the track.

Super cute little mare who is just really cool lol she has a beautiful face, and a good personality. She still has some growing and filling out to do and I think that’ll happen quick coming off the track. She was a forward thinking type on the track but never did anything naughty. She should make a pretty fun polo , polo cross, barrel racer, or jumper (really anything she has no limits). I think she would jump the moon. She seems really athletic!!

Who is shopping??? I have THREE new ones coming in today. 😅😅🤠🤠 2 small mares - like polo small. super cute, just very small! Probably even good barrel prospects!! And 1 big flashy bay gelding. Super thick.

Will have everyone posted this afternoon in between the rain drops.
