West Chester Veterinary Care (WCVC) is a full-service veterinary hospital that also offers pet boarding and dog daycare. We are located just off Union Centre Boulevard. We emphasize patient care and client education. We offer 30 minute appointments and also drop-off appointments. All our boarding dogs receive free dog daycare Monday through Friday. We treat all small animals, including pocket pets and reptiles.

To Our Wonderful Clients, Adorable Pets, and Amazing Staff,

Today we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Without your trust, love, and support, these 17 years wouldn't have been possible.

To our clients:
Thank you for allowing us to care for your furry (and scaly, and feathered) family members. You have welcomed us into your lives, and for that, we are beyond grateful. You've trusted us with your pets' health and well-being, and nothing makes us more proud than seeing those wagging tails and purring faces walk through our doors. (We also love the occasional nervous chicken that shows up—you're all part of the family!)

To our pets:
Thank you for being the heart and soul of our practice. You may not know it, but you have made our job the best one in the world. From the zoomies after a successful exam to the quiet moments when you curl up on the exam table, every pet brings us so much joy. You keep us on our toes, keep us laughing, and remind us daily why we do what we do. Keep being your adorable, quirky selves, and we’ll continue spoiling you with treats, belly rubs, and expert care.

To our staff:
Where do we even begin? You are the backbone of this practice and we are so lucky to work alongside such dedicated, compassionate, and downright hilarious people. From the techs who can hold an spicy kitty while giving a vaccine (and still making sure everyone is smiling and safe), to the Reception team who can juggle 17 phone calls and a parade of puppies without breaking a sweat, and serving up treats to ou fur babies like its a walk in the park, you are the heartbeat of WCVC. We couldn’t have made it this far without you.

We are beyond fortunate to have found a place we love showing up to every day. From the very first puppy nose boop to the hardest goodbyes, we’ve shared so many moments together, and each one has made this journey more special than we could have ever imagined. Here's to 17 years of love, laughter, and endless paw prints on our hearts.

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month! 🐾 These lovable old timers deserve all the love and cuddles in the world, and trust me, they make the BEST snuggle bugs. 💕 Sure, their farts might be a bit more ‘powerful’ with age. But their love is completely worth it. Let’s give our senior pets a second chance at life — because everyone deserves to spend their golden years surrounded by love and happiness, leaving this world knowing they’re truly cherished. shelters are overflowing with these amazing souls just waiting for their forever home — are you ready to make a senior’s golden years great? We sure hope so!!

🐾 Meet Beth, WCVC's Lead Receptionist, aka one of the real reasons we run on time (mostly)! 😜 With 18 months of being part of the WCVC family and decades of customer service experience under her belt, she’s the face—and the voice—that makes every pet parent feel at home.

When she’s not answering phones or scheduling appointments, you can find her chasing after her farm full of animals and chaos.

And let’s not forget her poodles—who are clearly the ones running the show at home. She spends a small fortune on them every other day it seems like, but hey, when you’re that cute, who can say no? 😅

From horses to poodles, and everything in between, Beth’s love for animals is as big as her heart. 💖 If you're lucky enough to call WCVC your vet home, chances are, Beth has already made your day a little brighter. Shes just amazing and are so lucky to have her as part of our work family day in and day out.

Meet Danelle J!!!!!

If you couldn’t tell from the picture (or the hair, or the pen, or the daily aesthetic), Danelle’s favorite color is purple. She doesn't just like it, she lives it entirely. We're pretty sure even her spreadsheets are color-coded in lavender. And if admin would approve it, she would print it all out on purple printer paper.

Danelle came to us with glowing recommendations from several of her peers already on the WCVC team, and from day one, she’s been nothing short of amazing. Whether she's wrangling charts, monitoring surgeries in the OR, organizing the kind of paperwork the rest of us pretend doesn't exist, or building the world's most beautiful Excel sheet for stellar medical charting and care— Danelle does it with style, precision, and just a hint of purple flair.

Outside of WCVC, she keeps her energy high as a Zumba instructor (seriously, how does she have the energy and time!? Were tired just thinking about it!!), and her heart/home full by fostering and adopting out kittens and cats. Yes — she's saving the world one spreadsheet, surgery, AND one whiskered friend at a time.

Danelle, thank you for bringing your spark, your heart, and your organizational wizardry to WCVC. You make our team stronger — and a lot more colorful! 💜

She’s fabulous, fun, louder than the hound dog in the recovery ward waking up from surgery, and the only boss who could rescue a struggling team and a stray animal (sometimes both in the same day.)

This tatted up, red-haired, caffeine-fueled goddess is just one possum away from living her dream life — if only her husband would cave and buy her a bigger house to fit her personal zoo in. (C’mon sir, let her live her best life with a marsupial already!)

Constance isn’t just a boss — she’s a full-on vibe. She’ll dance in public if it makes someone smile, she treats her team like actual humans with real lives outside of work, and she will scream louder at a mouse than she will at any Wednesday team meeting.

We’re lucky to work for someone who shows up every day with a big heart, chaotic energy, and possibly a new animal rescue story.

Here’s to you, Constance — the Chaos Coordinator, Possum Queen, Tattooed Hero of HR, and our fearless, fun, and fantastic leader. You make work way more than just a 7:30-6.
