Talk about an odd couple. Axel & Ace came in for their annual vaccinations today. Axel was the craziest, happiest friend in the clinic, but he’s a couch potato at home. Ace was a little more reserved in clinic (though still a gentleman), but his owners say he loves to run around the yard at home.

We’re closed this afternoon to allow our staff to celebrate Juneteenth or support those that do.
We’ll be back at 8 am tomorrow.

Marco was the bestest boy today for his heartworm test. He showed us his manners with great on command sits, & he was a gentleman shaking hands.

Let’s talk rabies. This disease is virtually 100% fatal if contracted…by your cat, by your dog, by you. We at WCVC take this disease very seriously, and the fatality rate is why we require every pet we see to be up to date on their rabies vaccine. Even indoor animals are potentially at risk (everyone knows someone who’s had a bat in their house). Rabies vaccinations keep your pet safe & help protect you, too.

A bat collected in West Chester Township has tested positive for rabies, the Butler County General Health District said Thursday.
