Meet Duchess, the affectionate and goofy dog who’s guaranteed to steal your heart! With her irresistible charm and photogenic looks, Duchess is always ready for her close-up. Whether she's zooming around the yard with her signature speed and grace, or chasing after toys (though she might not always bring them back), she never fails to bring joy to everyone around her. Duchess is an adventurous spirit, always up for exploring new places, so she’s on the lookout for a loving home with a secure 6ft fence where she can safely satisfy her curiosity.

Duchess has made a few furry friends here at the shelter and has played great with those we've introduced her to! If you're looking for a fun, loving companion with a lot of personality, Duchess is ready to become your new best friend!

Dante, and Kodi had the best day ever during their 1:1 time with one of our amazing volunteers! From soaking up the sunshine to splashing in the water, these pups truly made the most of their outdoor playtime.

Hey, I’m Achilles! 🌟

I’ve had a bit of a rough start adjusting to this new environment, but with a little patience, my true, goofy personality is starting to shine through. I’m on the lookout for my forever home—a place where I can feel safe, loved, and continue to grow into the fun, confident dog I am.

I love getting outside for walks and I’m a rockstar on the leash. I’m also a total attention-seeker—pets, love, and cuddles? Yes, please! I get along great with other large, playful dogs, but honestly, I’m just a big-hearted boy who loves everyone.

Meet Louie — a gentle soul wrapped in classic tabby stripes and endless curiosity. With big, expressive eyes and a calm demeanor, Louie is the kind of cat who will quietly follow you from room to room, just to keep you company. He’s sweet, observant, and has mastered the art of the slow blink (his version of "I love you").

Louie may be dealing with a possible case of eosinophilic granuloma complex — a condition that sometimes affects his skin or mouth — but don’t worry, it’s manageable with vet care and doesn’t slow him down one bit. He takes it all in stride, like the low-key little champion he is.

He enjoys cozy naps, window-watching, and gentle pets. Louie is the definition of a soft-hearted companion, and if you're looking for a mellow, loving cat with a little extra character, he might just be your perfect match.

Lost a Pet or Found One? Here’s What to Do:
4th of July is the busiest day of the year for Animal Care & Control. On the 4th, they will be prioritizing emergency calls for sick or injured animals, those in traffic, or aggressive animals.

⚠️ If you find a lost pet that is friendly and safe to handle:
✔️ Take a photo and post to your neighborhood FB groups or social channels.
✔️ Post the pet on Petco Love Lost - https://petcolove.org/lost/
✔️ If you feel comfortable, keep the pet safe with food, water, and shelter in a ventilated garage or shaded yard until the 5th, when ACC can assist if needed.

Hi there, I’m Aspen! I’m a sweet, gentle girl who’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. When I first arrived, I was pretty nervous and unsure, but with kindness and patience, I’ve started to open up—and let me tell you, there’s a silly, affectionate pup under this shy exterior!

We are so excited to team up with our friends at Yonder East in Cashmere for their very first Dog Days of Summer — an event dedicated to good dogs, cold cider, and raising lifesaving funds for the animals at Wenatchee Valley Humane Society!
