Last week kiddos from St. Paul's School summer program came for a visit to learn about veterinary medicine. They learned about the minimum 7 years of college dedication it takes to become a veterinarian, safety around approaching dogs, they got to see parasites and saw an ear infection under our microscope. They used stethoscopes to hear their own heartbeats and they even got to experience what lead aprons feel like when we take x- rays. The kids got to see our super x-ray (Conical Beam CT) and gowned/gloved up to do a surgery removing foreign bodies a dog had eaten (dog operation game). They got to meet Dobby the bearded dragon and Gidget the sweet pomeranian. It was a busy lunch break for us and a fabulous time with the kiddos! We had so much fun showing the kids a day in the life of all of us in veterinary medicine!

Please keep an eye out for this sweet neutered male cat named Maverick. He's normally an indoor cat but went missing last night in the Newberry-Wenatchee Valley College area. He has a tipped left ear and beauty mark on his upper right lip. He is not wearing a collar.

Please call the number provided and help Maverick get home. ❤️

Our very own Jonah Wisen is in his final year of vet school! He's truly a gift to our profession, community and the community of pets and pet parents that await him once he graduates in May. Keep up the great work Jonah!

Congrats to the Class of 2025 🎓

We honor Countryside Senior Randy Binner tonight!

Randy has worked with us assisting his mother and our dear friend and groomer Kathy. It has been our pleasure to see him grow up, achieve SO much and embark on his own path towards medicine!

Randy is an academic scholar and member of the National Honor Society. He played Varsity football and Varsity wrestling while also serving as ASB Secretary at Eastmont and somehow having time to work at Bubba Js BBQ.

He completed his EMT training & BLS certification and is pursuing a career in human medicine as he starts at Whitworth University in the Fall. Go get 'em Randy! We're so proud of you!!

Sweet Molly girl still needs a loving home!

Meet Molly B - an 8-year-old spayed kitty with up-to-date vaccinations and a heart full of love.
Sadly, she lost her owner recently and is now seeking a quiet, caring home to call her own. While she has lived with other cats, she much prefers her own space and has not been around dogs. Molly Bis a cheerful, affectionate companion who isn't shy about telling you how she feels, especially when she catches your eye! We need your help finding homes for these 3 adorable kitties.

Orangi, Blacki and Molly B. are housemates who's owner was given a very short terminal diagnosis. We are here to help during this difficult time and the kitties will be staying with us starting next week until we can find them homes to avoid overwhelming our shelter and causing them stress.

Orangi (male) and Blacki (female) are the best of friends and would ideally be rehomed together. They are both 3 years old.

Molly B. is 8 years old who would be fine to be separated from her siblings as she enjoys her alone time. If anyone would be willing to take all 3 they are certainly all comfortable with one another.

All are current on vaccinations and spayed/neutered.

Can you help by sharing their pictures? You may call and schedule a meet and greet. We would appreciate only serious inquiries who are able to give these cats a great life, including a veterinary reference they will be cared for moving forward.

We are pleased to announce that the staff at Countryside Veterinary Clinic has recently completed its 23rd year of performing the spay/neuter project for the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. Our doctors and staff have performed over 25 thousand surgeries to support this project. We are proud to say all involved have contributed a great degree of effort to support this community project.
