Letter from Dr. Lorenz:
Dear AHW Clients,
I want to start by thanking you for allowing me the privilege of being able to serve you and your pets for the last 20 years. It has been an honor and privilege to be your veterinarian at the Animal Hospital of Waynesboro, and to be part of you and your pets’ lives for so long.
After a long and difficult decision, I have decided that it is time to retire from the Animal Hospital of Waynesboro effective August 15th and move on to a new chapter of my life. It has been a joy to work alongside the staff at the Animal Hospital of Waynesboro. They are an incredible and caring group of people.
The hospital will continue its excellent tradition of quality care and client service under the guidance of Dr. Emily Ward, who will be taking over my leadership and administrative responsibilities as Medical Director. With such amazing, dedicated, caring, and thoughtful staff and Doctors, I know that I am leaving the animal hospital to a bright future.
I am saddened to be saying goodbye, but excited to be starting a new adventure. We are planning to move out of state to be closer to family and I am looking forward to a much better work-life balance.
Thank you again and best wishes.
Sincerely,
Dr. Greg Lorenz
