If you are in need of a safe, decent, affordable place to live, have a steady job and are willing to put in some sweat equity, you may want to think about applying for a Habitat home!

Here's Habitat for Humanity's partner families are chosen:

1. Willingness to work with Habitat: taking homeownership classes, cleaning up credit and debts, and putting in hundreds of hours of "sweat equity" on their homes

2. Show a need for housing. Our Family Selection committee spends many hours poring over applications and interviewing potential partner families, including making a visit and inspection at their current residence. There must be a housing need such as dangerous location, overcrowding, and/or unhealthy environment.
