Our next event is fast approaching and our volunteers have been busy planning!

Saturday, October 11th from 3pm-5pm Maples + Mutts Meet up will be excited to have you join a fun filled evening! Games, Scavenger Hunt, Photo opportunities (either selfies, by professional Caren Hanten, or BOTH) and a costume contest with voting happing at 4:30!

Adoptable pups will be helping our volunteers host the games and activities, so make your plans to stop on by!

🐝 Bees are out in full force! I’ve seen three stings so far since the end of August. One in the mouth and two on paws! It’s not fun but don’t panic! Here are some tips to help if your pet is stung by a bee!🐝

Most turn out to be just fine with some home remedies but they do require monitoring for more severe reactions!

If your pet is stung in the mouth or on the throat, we do suggest contacting your vet immediately!
