Today was our last day on Main Street! Officially packed up and moved OUT!

16 hour day finishing up the last appointments there, then over to the new shop to keep chipping away at the to do list. It’s coming together and we can’t WAIT for you all to see!

Back in the shop and the husband is here to help me get caught back up the rest of the week. 🤍 He’s a good one, that’s for sure!!

🏔️💍🌲 Soon-to-be Mr. Pioneer Shears came and helped with my last day of dogs and we head out in the morning!!

I won’t have my shop phone with me, so I’ll get reply to messages and texts when I get back!

Here's the lowdown on the big changes coming next month!

1. New Location📍🏠
900 N Helen Lane
The exciting reason for these changes, I am getting to move into my OWN space!

2. Weight Restrictions 🚫🐕‍🦺
As a solo groomer, I can no longer accommodate giant breeds I can’t safely handle and/or lift on my own. Your dog’s safety will always come first.

3. Shop Entry Procedure 🔐
For safety, the front door will remain locked. You’ll receive a code in your reminder text to enter via keypad, or you can call the shop number and I’ll let you in. It’ll take a little getting used to, but we’ll find our rhythm!

4. Price Adjustment 💰
With a solo shop comes higher operating costs. Starting August 5th, prices will increase by 5%. The upside? We’re now outside city limits—so no more 2.5% city tax!

5. Schedule Change 🗓️
I’ll no longer be offering weekend appointments. This has been a VERY hard decision, but during this special season I’m choosing to prioritize time with my new husband. Monday evening appointments will be available to help accommodate this change.

I know this is A LOT! Growing pains aren’t always easy, but I’m truly excited for this next chapter. With all the changes happening, one thing that absolutely won’t change is the love and care I give your dogs. This will just help create a calmer environment for your pups, and that’s what matters most. Thank you for your patience and support—your trust means the world to me, and I will always put your dog’s well-being first.

🤭🎉 You might have already heard the whisperings and I wasn’t planning on making the announcement until after my big wedding week away but, things have moved much faster than anticipated. SO without further ADOOOOO! I have a BIG NEWS!!!

🚚 Pioneer Shears is MOVING! (But only a mile and a half away!)
The time has come for me to move into my own solo space, and although it’s adding change into an already busy summer, we know it will be so worth it! This move will be taking place in August and with it will come some changes on how I’m able to operate, so stay tuned for all the details you will need to know!

I want to thank you all in advance for being extra patient with me and my very tight schedule this summer! Jake and I will be getting married at Mt. Rainier National Park, taking me away from the shop for a week which has scrunched up appointments. Nothing a little finagling and flexibility hasn’t been able to solve though!
