I’m so proud to say that each of them has been trained using positive reinforcement only—no prong collars, choke chains, or shock collars involved. Just patience, consistency, and lots of treats and praise. 💛

Huge shoutout to my wonderful helper, Holly, for her support during the training process! Couldn’t have done it without you!

Positive training works. Happy dogs, happy walks. 🐶💫

Puppy Socialization Play Time!
Socialization is so important for young pups—it helps build their confidence, teaches them proper dog-to-dog communication, and sets the foundation for a well-adjusted adult dog. Without it, puppies can grow up to be fearful, reactive, or even aggressive.

That’s why we make sure all our play sessions happen in a safe, supervised environment where pups can learn and have fun!

Check out Chanel and Honey during playtime—yes, those two who are always wrestling! Watch closely and you’ll see Chanel offer to roll on her back at the end. That’s exactly what we love to see: both dogs enjoying themselves and showing great play etiquette.

Play should always be mutual and fun for everyone involved!

Crosby (one of my personal pets) got some great training in today while soccer practices happened. He’s a more cautious puppy, so he works at a slower pace and needs a bit more space to feel comfortable. Luckily, it was a perfect day for it—low crowds and plenty of room to work at a distance. He did a fantastic job staying focused, walking nicely on a loose leash, and settling when asked. All key skills we work on in our classes at TVC.

🐶✨ Current STAR Puppy Class Update! ✨🐶

We’re having a blast in our current STAR Puppy class! A few of our golden retrievers from the last session have returned, and we’ve welcomed some new faces—a playful boxer and an adorable cavapoo!

🐾STAR Puppy is an exciting class designed to help owners and their pups build a strong foundation for training and socialization. Puppies under one year old can participate, so if you’re looking to give your pup the best start, this is the class for you!Stay tuned for more updates and adorable puppy moments! 🐕💛

🎓🐾 Congratulations to the first graduating class of puppies from TVC puppy school in 2025! 🎉 These adorable Golden Retriever puppies have completed their first course in basic training and are officially ready to take on the world, one wag at a time. From puppy exams to playtime fun, they’ve learned all the basics and are now well on their way to becoming confident and happy pups. We’re so proud of each and every one of them! 🐶✨ Here’s to a lifetime of love, belly rubs, and tail wags! 🐕
