Lost dachshund in Washington, Illinois. Last seen near dusk.

I rolled up, set the landing zone, got comms confirmed, and put the thermal up. Then it was just me, the feed, and hours of grid work — scanning every shadow, every ditch, every place a scared little dog might hide.

When the grid was done, I brought the drone home and called it a night.

That's what a professional search looks like: structured, disciplined, and thorough.

Lost dogs don't find their way back alone. They find their way back because a community shows up.

When Loki got out, the sightings started rolling in — 13 of them across the area. Every single one got logged, tracked, and triangulated. That's how you narrow a search grid. That's how you bring a dog home.
