All Roxie wants for Christmas is YOU! ❤️

She may have spent her SECOND Halloween in the shelter, but maybe, just maybe, we can make sure she doesn’t spend another holiday waiting for a family. Our Christmas wish? To have Roxie HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS! 🎁

Roxie is a sweet and playful 5-year-young Terrier mix who loves people, toys, cuddles, and exploring the world on scent-filled walks. She may be a little shy at first, but give her some patience and she’ll show you just how much love she has to give.

She’s ready for a fresh start as the only dog in a home with teens. After being surrendered due to a change in her family’s lifestyle, she’s still waiting for someone to choose her.

She doesn’t need presents under the tree. She just wants a family to wake up to on Christmas morning. ❤️

🌧️💔 732 DAYS. 732 DAYS OF WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HER. 💔🐾

And today, while the rain falls, Doja doesn’t care. Because for a little while, she gets to be outside her kennel, breathe the fresh air, sniff the world, and simply be a dog. No rush. No noise. Just a little peace.

Imagine waiting 732 days for a place to call home. Imagine how much love you have to give, and no one has come to take you home yet. Doja is still waiting. Still hoping. Still ready for her chance.

At 3.5 years old, this sweet, playful girl has so much love waiting to blossom. 🌷 She may need a little extra time to feel safe in new situations, but when she trusts you, you get to see the beautiful, loving personality underneath. She loves toys, enjoys walks on leash, and already knows how to sit!

Doja needs a patient, experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time. A calm home with teens, gentle introductions, and someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace could change her entire world. ❤️

She doesn’t need a perfect home. She needs HER person. Someone who will see beyond the days she’s spent waiting and recognize the incredible dog she’s always been.

🐾 732 days in a shelter is 732 days too long. 🌧️ She deserves rainy-day adventures that end in a warm home. 🛋️ She deserves a cozy bed, a family, and a forever.

Does Roxie still believe her family is coming?
After 678 days in a shelter, we hope she does.

Roxie has spent almost two years waiting for the life she deserves. She was surrendered when her family’s lifestyle changed, and since then, this sweet 5-year-young Terrier mix has been waiting for someone to see her, choose her, and give her a forever home.

She is playful. She is affectionate. She loves toys, cuddles, people, and sniff-filled walks. She may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but give her time and patience, and she will show you just how loving she can be. Roxie walks well on lead and would do best as the only dog in a home with teens.

678 days is far too long for any dog to wait. We don’t want her to lose hope that her person is out there.
