News Release: Gr.1 Champion Delaney Hanover to Be Bred to Chapter Seven

The fastest 3yo trotting filly of 2025 and 3x Breeders Crown finalist Delaney Hanover has been retired from racing.

Debuting with back to back wins as a 2yo, the daughter of world champion Muscle Hill rose to prominence as a 3yo with devastating speed of her own. Off a third place finish in the 2025 Hambletonian Oaks, Delaney Hanover blazed to a lifetime mark of 1:50.1 in the Kentucky Filly Futurity - the fastest dvisional time of 2025 and just 2/5ths of a second off the world record. She set a track record of 1:51 in the Breeders Crown elimination at Woodbine - Mohawk and capped off her stellar sophomore campaign with five wins, a second and two thirds in eleven starts for over $400,000 in seasonal earnings.

After finishing third in this year's Hambletonian Maturity, she could not repeat last year's form and was retired following the Breeders Crown Mares Trot. She finishes with career earnings of $634,597 from seven wins.

Delaney Hanover was bred by Hanover Shoe Farms and we're excited to announce she will be bred to Chapter Seven.
