Sessions will be held at the It is Pawzable Dog Training facility. All indoor training and classes will be held here. It is located at:
720 N Pontiac Trail
Walled Lake, MI 48390
It Is on the southeast corner of Pontiac Trail and Maple Rd. It is in the same plaza as The Salvation Army, at the opposite end of the strip.
The training facility has an “in home” environment. We re able to work on leash manners, socialization, or off leash training, as well as any behaviors that may arise in the home; off the furniture, Leave it, counter surfing and begging, the place command etc.
Drop Off Structured Play/Socialization
This service is for dogs who may need a little more support with socializing than a doggy daycare offers. Your dog may be too timid to go to a large doggy daycare setting, or has failed a doggy daycare evaluation, or possibly has been kicked out of doggy daycare. Maybe they need to learn how to be around other dogs. You will drop off your dog for the day 10am-3pm. The very first time that your dog comes for drop off play group, you will drop them off at 9:35am. We only host 8-10 dogs on these days. We work with each dog individually to help them grow and improve in whatever ways they need. Ideally, your dog may come to a few of these groups and will be ready to tackle doggy daycare, boarding or whatever you may need successfully. Our goal is for each dog to be the best version of themselves.

GROUP CLASSES:
When entering all group classes, you will enter class with your dog in the heel position. That way you are in control and ready to work.
I am able to keep everyone safe when all dogs are in the heel position.
In the summer/nice weather months, we try to be outside as much as possible. We often times meet in downtown Milford for group classes. (We are stuck inside all winter long.) Milford offers us a variety of great real life training experiences.
Drop in Group classes are every Wednesday at 6:00PM, unless notified otherwise.
I also host a Friday 11:00AM class on the second Friday of every month. You will need to reserve a spot for all classes. This class always meets at the facility. My goal is to always have 10-12 dogs in this class. If I don’t have enough participants, I will cancel this class.
The protocol for weekend group classes is:
They will be posted on the Paw Partner app no later than Tuesday of each week. The WEEKEND class schedule will change on a weekly basis, based on my availability.
I try to have one Beginner class and one intermediate/advanced class each weekend. You need to reserve a spot for all classes on the app.

BEGINNER GROUP CLASSES:
You must reserve a spot for your dog. Everyone will participate in two Beginner group class before joining the intermediate/advanced classes. The intermediate/advanced classes are where you will continue to learn and grow. The beginner classes are very basic. They are 45 minute classes.
OUTDOOR CLASSES:
Many of our outdoor classes are held in downtown Milford. We meet at Central Park. When you pull in, stay to the right up the hill. You will see us near the brick restroom building and the LaFontaine Amphitheater. I will be posting on the FB page soon with a start date for meeting in Milford for Drop In classes!

The entrance off of Liberty Street is typically gated off.
I do occasionally hold outdoor classes at the training facility, so please be sure to always check the page and “class info” tab on the app to see the class location.
While classes are held outdoors, if there is a 30% chance of rain or more at class time, class will be held indoors at the facility. I will confirm on the page and send a message to all who reserved a spot for that class on the Paw Partner app. You can always ask me.

•We are using the Paw Partner app for scheduling, reserving a spot in classes, purchasing training and retail items, all things It is Pawzable will be available on the Paw Partner app! You can download it through the app store
It is currently available for you to create a profile for you and your pup.
Before you are able to make a reservation on the app, you will need to complete a series of steps; create a profile for both you and your pet, answer the consultation, questions, upload the vaccination, record and date dates, and sign 3 agreements.

******IMPORTANT******
Please make sure that I ALWAYS have an up to date copy of your dog’s vaccinations uploaded in the app.
Please remember to have your training collar/tools with ID TAG and a leash on your dog before you get out of your car.
ID TAGS ARE MANDATORY!!!
Also, remember to wear shoes that will be comfortable to work with your dog in.
You MUST always be in control of your dog.
Please remember to give other dogs their space, as we do not know which dogs may be reactive or unfriendly.
Please take your dog potty before starting class. There is a grassy area through the breezeway, behind the building.
Of course, always pick up after your dog when they go potty.
It is also a good idea to exercise your dog before class if possible. A dog that is full of energy is going to be more challenging to train.
