I feel so honored. A past client of mine wants me to come back to help her with her new pup. Sunday it is! I'm so excited to meet her!

I cry at the intent and meaning of this story. Let me go cry some more.

I've trained two service dogs, three esa dogs, and considering training. Training another service dog next month or within the next couple of months.

I'm feeling a little sentimental right now. This was my first dog ever and the reason I got into dog training after her im 1997. I spent hours upon hours a day training her and it completely paid off. She never went after a squirrel or a rabbit because I would say don't even think it and she knew that she could walk with me if I stepped with my left foot but knew that she could not if I stepped with my right foot first. Among other talents like obeying hand signals when we were several hundred feet apart . Consistency is the key.

By the way I am fully in favor of dremeling dogs nails weekly. I used to call it beauty shop Sunday. LOL However if you want exceptional dog dremeling monthly I fully endorse glamorous paws where RaeAnn and her associate are magnificent.

I know I don't post often and that's my choice. But a few things to say is leash reactivity is real and must be controlled. As must fence meetings be. Dog parks are, sorry to anyone I offend, unfavorable because of the mindset of many people that haven't have trained their dogs and expect the dog park to release the energy. With all of my own dogs and my ridiculous number of Fosters, as a trainer and Agility trainer, I have gained experience since 1997 . Please be safe and reach out for help if and when you need it. All in good health Happy New Year.

Thank you to the ultra random Unknown People that have tried to chat with me regarding my account. Since I have not heard from the proper authorities I will not respond. Everything has been changed and people are allowed to contact me for my services in the proper manner.

Hi all I may have been hacked by somebody who said my posts were inappropriate or at least a post was. Funny thing is I personally have not posted for a while and that's my fault to all of you. They're threatening to cut me off they as in not Facebook but somebody with a different name. I apologize if we lose contact. Love our pets and love what we have had together.

COPIED BECAUSE IT’S TOO BRILLIANT NOT TO. Found it posted in a breed group with thousands of members so hopefully the word is spreading.

The other day I was at the local public park (not a dog park, but dogs are allowed there). We were walking along in a high movement area so I had my dog on a leash. Another dog, off leash, sees us and starts approaching.
My dog needs her space so we start moving away, but the dog got to us before we could leave. My dog was stressing a little so I politely said to the woman, sorry my dog doesn't want to play and ushered her dog away.
Her dog gets the message and moves on.
Quite good, right? Here comes the juicy part:
As I’m leaving the owner comes to me with a speech more or less like this:
Hey, if your dog is nervous and doesn’t even want to play with other dogs, go somewhere else! Don’t come to the park and ruin other dogs fun.
I heard this and a wave of fury started taking over, but suddenly I think I had a lightbulb moment and switched gears completely.
With the biggest, friendliest smile, I opened my arms as wide as I could and said Ohhhhh! Come here... I want to give you a BIG hug!
With panic in her eyes, she backs up, speechless and quickly starts walking away.
I said "Hey, don’t run, I’m so friendly, come on, I only want to give you a hug! I’m friendly I promise... I just want to Hug You!"
Still speechless and backing away with terror now, I said "Wait, You don’t want my friendly hug?"
She yelled No!
I said "Well neither does my dog! Have a nice day.!!!"
As I walked away, I saw her just standing there, speechless and she was leashing her dog! 😅
I think I’ll try this approach more often 🤣
