For The Love of Cats Rescue and Adoption LOCRA is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no kill, foster & volunteer-based rescue out of Walled Lake, Mi. We are always in need of volunteers and donations.

Additionally, we educate the public on a variety of cat-related topics. We are foster-based, mea

ning all our rescued cats are housed in volunteer foster homes, where they are loved and cared for. We do not have a brick and mortar shelter, however, we do show our cats through space at our partner organization, PetSmart Commerce Township, located at 385 Haggerty Road, near 14 Mile Road.

🐾 June sunshine brings new beginnings! For Love of Cats Rescue and Adoption has three wonderful, unbonded sweethearts ready to fill your summer with love. ☀️

🌸 Florense arrived pregnant and did an amazing job raising her babies. Now, this beautiful 1yo calico is ready for her own pampering! She is a goofy, even-tempered girl who absolutely excels at giving sweet cuddles, demanding belly rubs, and curling up perfectly in your lap.

🐦 Goose Boulder is a 3yo gray kitty who used to break into neighborhood garages just to find a friend! He is a total character who loves watching birds, doing ankle twirls for attention, and gently pulling your hand back if you dare stop petting him.

🏡 Levi is a 1yo tabby who made it clear he wasn't meant for outdoor life by following his feeder everywhere. He has completely embraced the indoor VIP life, thriving as a loyal shadow who loves to supervise your day or lounge right beside you on the couch.
