Well we made it home and unloaded from the Nebraska State Taxidermy competition. Victoria did well with her deer and turkey taking blue ribbons on both in the amateur division and winning best of category ribbons in the whitetail and turkey categories for Amateur. I even fared well in the masters large lifesize division with my mountain lion scratching out a 1st place blue ribbon as well. It was a great show and thanks to the NSTA for always making us KS taxidermists feel welcomed. You guys put on a great show.

Couple turkeys finished up from last yr. Only 1 left from last yr that is still drying. Working on bears and other birds from last yr now. Deadmount turkey has a removable wing for easier transportation. Of course all my turkey mounts have removable tails standard for easy transportation.

Finished up this giant 76.5" wide Yukon moose. I don't know what the mount weighs, all I know is it takes 3 of us to lift it up to put on the pedistal. The antlers alone weigh 65lbs.

Finally put the last turkey of last season together today. If you brought me a turkey last year and haven't received it back yet, please know that it is mounted and busy drying. You will be hearing from me very soon.

I got another freezer to handle all the birds coming in this yr, however my tannery messed up on a batch of hides and sent me wet tans instead of dry tan so all my extra freezer space just went to these deer capes. So as of right now I am full and can not accept anymore birds until I get some freezer space cleared up. I appreciate yall's patience and loyalty but if you cant hold your bird, you will have to find someone else to do it. I apologize for any inconvenience

I loved working on this piece and I hate to see it go home. Very pleased with how it turned out. Love working on cats of all sizes and species. The wood base is Spalted Hackberry and was custom made by Ellen Kiley Goeckler of Ember Woods in Manhattan KS.

Been working on turkeys, large lifesize, and small lifesize. Triple bearded bird shipping out. I need to get a good light or something cause I have a heck of a time getting good pics of mounted turkeys. They always look better in person to me than in my pics.
