We survived chick season! We got our last batch of chicks in today, which were chukar. We’ve had a lot of long days and late nights flipping the barn this summer, but we did it as a family, which is the best part!

This year we raised/are raising approximately:
11,500 started birds - which means they were sold at 6 weeks old
11,000 chukar which will be sold at maturity
20,000 pheasants which will be sold at maturity
