A place to scatter the ashes of your dead pet. A home that celebrates adoption with all adopted children visiting the farm for free......admission for all others is $10.00. 🚫👎🏽Please DO NOT buy your child a pet rabbit or guinea pig 🐹 ‼️🐰Rent a pre-owned rabbit or guinea pig (or pair) instead from Winterpast Farm in Wake Forest NC.
👍🏽YOU can help Farmer Mary recycle existing pets instead of creating more that will probably be abandoned eventually at an animal shelter or “donated” to an animal rescue like Winterpast Farm.
🎁Consider gifting YOUR child or Grandchild (or yourself!) an interesting animal experience instead of just buying more stuff. 🎁 Great reward for good grades or behavior too. 📸Take some unique photos‼️🎉Perfect for birthdays ‼️
👍🏽Find out about any possible animal allergies in your family BEFORE you buy and name a pet.
🐇🐹$60 for up to a week or $100 for up to two weeks rental includes cage, food, hay, bedding, care book, water bottle, food bowl, and all needed supplies. Rental period can be extended. Please bring exact change, cash only, at pickup
🥬🍌🥕Enjoy setting up taste tests, make a maze out of cardboard or magna tiles, check Etsy for easy DIY toys you can make, learn how much a small caged pet poops 💩.
👍🏽“Rent for a week and get over it” says Farmer Mary. Please don’t buy a small caged pet and then dump it here when you lose interest‼️A good day for Farmer Mary is when no boxes 📦 of unwanted animals are found left in the parking lot at Winterpast Farm.🙄🙁 YOU can help recycle existing pets instead of creating more‼️🐰🐹
👍🏽You could make a unique gift certificate and let them come pick out the animal they want to host.
🎁 Give Memories, NOT more stuff!🥰 Get your children off screens caring for and learning about an animal.

Persimmons are dropping on the ground at Winterpast Farm in Wake Forest NC. Too bad this variety are way too astringent to eat. The chickens, who have no taste buds, eat them occasionally.🐓

🐓Some breeds of chickens have large single combs that fall to one side, especially in hens.
🐓A hen's comb can temporarily droop or lean when she is actively laying eggs 🥚 or going broody.
🐓Older hens often have softer, looser tissue that causes their combs to droop with age.
