This spunky little pup has already shown what a fighter he is. Ridgeway started life with a battle against puppy strangles (juvenile cellulitis), but with the right medical care, regular meals, and plenty of love in his foster home, he’s made an incredible turnaround.

Now Ridgeway is thriving—he’s playful, silly, and loves romping around with other dogs. His goofy personality shines through more each day, and he’s learning how fun it is to just be a happy, carefree puppy.

Ace is a Feist mix, around 30 lbs of gentle soul and quiet charm. An adult pup with a heart full of loyalty, Ace isn’t the life of the party—but he’s the kind you’ll find quietly observing from the sidelines, soaking it all in with thoughtful eyes.

At the farm, we’ve come to adore his "wallflower" ways. He’s the kind of dog who thrives by watching, learning, and slowly building his confidence—especially when he’s got good company by his side. He does wonderfully with his group mates, happily tagging along on their adventures, discovering new things at his own pace.

Ace is looking for a home that sees the beauty in a soft spirit. A family who will love his observant nature, nurture his growing bravery, and give him the stability to bloom.

In Loving Memory of Clementine 🧡

Rescue is filled with joy, hope, and second chances—but it's also filled with heartbreak. Today, we’re honoring the life of Clementine, a sweet soul who didn’t get nearly enough time, but who finally knew love at the end of her journey.

Clementine came to us after what we believe was a lifetime of neglect—certainly several recent years of it. We quickly discovered she was battling advanced heartworm disease and had a cancerous mass that was spreading aggressively. Her body was tired. Treatment began, but it became clear that she was declining fast and continuing treatment would have meant prolonging her suffering, not her life.

But here’s what matters most: Clementine didn’t die without a chance. Because of the shelter staff who reached out to us to find options for her. Because we were willing to take on the cost and the emotional weight of giving her a shot. Because of our vet team who treated her gently and with dignity. Because of her foster who opened their home and heart. She spent her final days in a warm, safe home. She had someone to care for her, to love her, to see her as she truly was—worthy.

Clementine may not have had a long life filled with comfort, but in the end, she had someone. And that means everything. Run free, sweet girl. You were loved. 💔🐾
