🥃 SingleBarrelWhizkey & Chelsea Thomas — 4th in Rookie I on Thursday and several more solid runs throughout the weekend! (On Friday, Chelsea and Meredith tied for the highest score in their Rookie set. A big thank-you to TNRHA for finding fun ways to recognize riders with the set awards. It made an already great show even more fun!)

⭐ Rauri Otten & Sloane McQuerry both put together solid runs in their youth divisions and are looking ready to turn up the heat again in September. Rauri & Gamorra also brought home 3rd place in Short Stirrup!

We may have melted a little in Tennessee, but it was worth it! 😎

✨Milestones & Memories✨

The Clayton Classic gave us plenty to celebrate this weekend.

🏆 Ticket to Tinseltown added just under $800 in earnings, finishing 3rd in the Limited Open, Level 2, and Level 4 Maturity, pushing her lifetime earnings past $12,000!

🎓 Sophia Cairo also reached a milestone, competing in her last youth class and show of the season before heading off to college. We can’t wait to see what comes next for her.

💕 Thanks to the generosity of Chelsea Thomas and Jessica Heskel, short stirrup rider Lucy Hundley got to show SingleBarrelWhizkey (owned by Chelsea) using Jessica’s saddle and show pad to perfectly match Lucy’s pink shirt. Watching Lucy’s excitement and gratitude reminded all of us what this sport is really about.

🐴 Mike Cairo got his own victory lap… lead-line style… aboard Sophia’s horse, Girl With A Magnum. Safe to say he wore that smile the whole way around.

🦄 Ryan Brisset and his pony Oh Deer tackled their first pattern class together. A pony named “Oh Deer” is already hard not to love, and this pair had everyone cheering.

🎬Rauri and Gamorra had their first weekend together at a show. After just a few months together, this duo is quickly growing stronger.

🎉 Sloane celebrated more than a win - she celebrated a birthday! Her horse show friends surprised her by decorating the tack stall with banners, bling, and plenty of birthday spirit.

There are so many more moments we could share, but we’d probably hit Facebook’s character limit. 😂

Congratulations to everyone on a wonderful weekend. These are the moments that make us look forward to the next show. 🤍🐴

🐴JuJuzz Talk N Trash finished in the money in all three rides - two with owner, Meredith Skaggs (Rookie I and NHNPL1) and on Sunday with Elijah in the NHOL1

💪🏼SingleBarrelWhizkey and Chelsea Thomas finished strong on Sunday, placing in the money in Rookie I.

Sloane cruised Ollivander to some 💥huge💥 stops in the Youth 13 & under!

✅Jessica Heskel and Ticket to Tinseltown had great runs in preparation for the Buckeye.

😀The crew was happy to see Morgan back in the show pen on Ollivander and to celebrate Cheerio’s first show for owner Brooke Baker!

Sunday Recap!

Gamorra and Brooke Baker had another solid run in KRHA Green I with a money earning 3rd place finish.

Harley Quinn Dunnit carried first time reining exhibitor Broussard Hundley to a 3rd place finish in KRHA Green 2 - a fan favorite run of the weekend.

SingleBarrelWhizkey and Chelsea Thomas finished third in Saturdays Green Shootout and had a great pattern for a third place finish in Rookie 1.

Girl with a Magnum and Sophia Cairo earns a top 5 finish in Rookie 1 and Youth 14 - 18.

Shacklebolt and Sloane McQuerry finished first in the 13 & Under.

Nestle Swhiz Chocolat and Angie Loechel placed in the money across numerous divisions earning 2nd in Intermediate Non Pro, Master Non Pro, Non Pro, and won the Prime Time Non Pro.

Ticket to Tinseltown and Jessica Heskel finished top 5 with a money winning run in the Limited Non Pro.

Piper and Elijah went on to finish the day with a winning run in the Limited Open. Ollivander and Elijah placed second in the class.

Great weekend and good fun at Lakeside! Thank you, KRHA!

Saturday at the Kentucky Reining Horse Association show was full of fun!

In KRHA Green 1 Isabel Hundley on Harley Quinn Dunnit placed 3 and Brooke Baker on Gamorra placed 4.

Jujuzz Talk N Trash and Meredith Skaggs earned a top 5 finish in the Novice Horse Non Pro Level 1.

Shacklebolt and Sloane McQuerry won the 13 & under youth division.

Girl with a Magnum and Sophia Cairo placed third in the youth 14-18 division.

Ticket to Tinseltown and Jessica Heskel placed in the top 5 with money earning wins in Limited and Intermediate Non Pro. Piper and Elijah placed second in the Limited Open.

Nestle Swhiz Chocolat and Angie Lochel earned a top 5 finish in the PT Non Pro.
