He’s a very forward horse with a lot of power and ready for action. He is quite competitive and would make a super eventing horse! He needs a confident and experienced rider who is ready to put him to work. He does great on hacks down the road, he can be a little bit cautious and looks around, but stands well for traffic flying by, he doesn’t mind a bit. He can be cautious in new areas, but never offers to bolt/buck/rear. He just needs a few minutes to figure it out and some reassurance, and he will go along just fine and doesnt bother him once bes past it. He was a little high spirited when i first brought him in, but he settled right in and is quiet,curious and cuddly, but when it comes to work, he is ready to go and turns on, but is still pleasant to ride.

I strongly urge any serious buyers to consider him more for eventing and showing rather than just a pasture ornament or trail buddy. He’s got too much potential and power to go to waste, however doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy an easy day here and there! He did wonderfully on a nice easy hack down the road just today, stands perfectly to hangout and chat or take a break! He even shut his eyes and dozed off while a neighbor pulled over off the road to stop and talk.

Niagara Gold is very sweet and very much “in your pocket”. Super curious about everything! We call him curious George! Please comment or message us if you are interested!
