I had put Tyko (Beau-D/Swirl) on the back burner after he finished his OTCH to focus completely on Spirit’s (Skye/Gypsy) field and obedience training. After I lost Spirit in Jan. I decided to brush Tyko off and show him occasionally. We showed at the double obedience trail at the ABTCA yesterday and he really surprised me!
Trial 1 Utility B 3rd with 197. Open B 2nd 197
Trial 2 Utility B 1st with 195.5 Open B 1st 198.5
Trial 2 High In Trial and High Combined!!!!
I whispered to him that it was only him and I now and he gave it his all! A quick moment of sadness hit me on the stand stay in trial 2, thinking of Spirit—I think he was with us.
Thank you to every one involved in hosting the All Breed training Club of Akron obedience trials yesterday. Thanks also to Fred Buroff and Michele Dembowski for judging.
