This verse has never meant more to me than it does today! I saw this shirt and knew I needed it. I’m sure you have probably noticed I have literally been wearing it almost every day 🤣 I love the verse, I love the feel, I love the fit! It fits over my hips which is typically my “problem” area with most shirts. I actually love it so much that I ordered 2 other shirts from them and they should be here some time next week!

Does ACV (apple cider vinegar) really reduce fevers?!

I can’t say scientifically but, for us it’s a big fat yes! 🙌🏼

Every time one of our kiddos gets sick and has a fever above 103* we immediately put them in an acv bath! We check temps before and after the bath. Their temps consistently drop a whole degree every time and it stays there for a while! Typically when we are really fighting things we do an acv bath 2x a day for at least 20mins.

Acv is our secret weapon during illness! Have you ever tried it? Did it work for you?

Do you know the feeling?

Those first few days/ weeks of a detox can be rough! Thankfully they don’t last forever and are totally worth it in the end!

I am looking forward to doing this detox again during the summer, but until then I will be doing a nutritional gut cleanse, and preparing my detox pathways to be fully open! This includes doing scar massage on my C-section scar! Fun fact! Some women’s scar tissue can actually impede their bowel movements! Scar massage to break up that fascia is one way to get those bowels moving regularly again. Thankful for my pelvic floor therapist for constantly reminding me of this!

So, who is gonna prepare for this detox with me? We’ve got a couple of months to prepare, but I’m starting my 4-6 week nutrition cleanse in the next week or two and I know I already have one other person interested!

More Foraging! Lilac Syrup Recipe:

Sugar:water:flowers 1:1:2

•Pick the flowers just after they open and are most fragrant!
•Pull the flowers from the stems. Make sure there is no free attached. The green makes the syrup bitter
•Rinse the flowers
•Boil a 1:1 ratio of sugar and water
•Add 2x the amount of flowers to the 1:1 ratio ie if you do 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar, then you’d use 2 cups of flowers.
•Simmer for 5 mins
•Now comes the hard part, take off the stove and let sit for upwards of 8 hrs. The longer they sit the more intense the flavor.
•Strain flowers and pour into a glass jar.
•Keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks!

This is a perfect syrup to add to beverages for a light floral flavor. I have also used it on pancakes and it was delicious! 🤤 experiment with it yourself and come back and let me know how you used it!

Reading my Bible is a priority but, it never looks perfect.

To put things into perspective, I have been working on diet and lifestyle changes for 13 Years! Can you imagine how much life has happened in those 13 years?!
My entire foundation (shakey as it was) crumbled as soon as I started this journey! I graduated college, I got married, my sister got married, my MIL passed, I birthed 2 babies and have moved at least 10 times in those 13 years! And that’s just the big stuff. Life isn’t linear and honestly if it was it would be very boring and mundane. I know that’s not what I want for my life!
