Ok just when I think it’s under control. Needs both catalytic converters, and exhaust system. Mobile mechanic did not install the radiator correctly. So there is leakage up there. Leaking oil and transmission fluid. A few other things not as urgent.
He said it’s a miracle I’m not sick the exhaust was leaking back into the van. It may be why I’m so tired and short of breath especially lately. He says at least 1500, if bolts come off ok, and I will need the room through Friday night which is another $350 . I’m praying I can get help or a loan to get through this. I have enough to cover this coming in September . I’m stranded, I know that I can’t afford another vehicle. The amount I am getting in September is not enough to buy a better vehicle. I have so much already. I don’t know anybody local, my family is tapped out. One mechanic said without the repair he would only give me $600 for the van. I have put much more than that in just repairs into it this summer. Plus I never received the title I paid for.
It is all the pups and I have to stay in until I can find someplace. I was outbid on the fixer upper. Trying to find another. I have not given up hope. Staying in the van is temporary. I’m

Paid diognostic charges at shop, catalytic converters are bad. Would take over a week to get it done where it is. He is driving it down the road to who recommended him and first told me was most likely catalytic converters. I’m looking at at least $1000 in repairs and more nights at motel. Again anybody that can help me directly is appreciated message me or text. 336 602-8332. . Even if in form of a loan until September. Will know more after he gets it up on the lift hopefully today. I paid room through tomorrow morning so out of the heat at least. Hopefully will be done by Friday. Too late to make it to my Dr appointment in NC. Would have to leave for that tonight. Please share go fund me and help if you can. On the bright side temps are supposed to cool off this weakend and transmission would have cost so much more. I booked a cheap motel. After discovering some extra charge on my account, gas etc after motel for 3 nights it only leaves me with just over $200 for repair. Please help if you can. I have Apple Pay, Zelle, PayPal. So I can get it in time. PayPal takes a fee out unless you list it as family and friends. All by phone number. Reach out to me if you can. Ii may have sold a pup at drastically reduced price. Please pray they buy him.anybody else want a papered 1 year old little therapy pup please let me know. I can even do a loan if payment isn’t until Sept. I have no idea how much repair will be until I have it towed to the shop tomorrow. I don’t want to leave the pups in the room alone. I have to find a motel today so the pups and I have a place to stay during the repair that is scheduled to start tomorrow, that I pray I can afford. Have to have the room 3 nights to give mechanic time to get parts and complete the job due to check in and check out times. No idea how much repair will come to. After gas use during this past week running fans , keeping ice in cooler to keep us & car temp down to 90’s during the day in the van, it ate up half of what I had towards repair.
If you know me personally, you know the good work the therapy pups and I do. Please contact me directly so I can get the funds needed in time. If you don’t, please donate to my go fund me asap so perhaps I can borrow the funds needed to get the room and repairs to make it to my dr appointment back in NC this week. Both prayers and financial help to get us driving up hills again without causing further damage to my van. The pups and I will be for ever grateful. Especially since I am stranded in VA currently.

The heat will be intense the next several days. Van is scheduled for the mechanic Monday morning. Need to find a place to stay Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday ( possibly Wednesday as well). I am already short part of the repair costs if it is torque converter, going into unknown territory. For those that know me, please help me directly, I won’t have go fund me funds in time. Those that don’t the link for go fund me is below. I have been volunteering with these pups for 11 years. I got outbid on my fixer upper. I’m hunting for another as a home for the pups and I.
Desperate for shady area to park in Christiansburg, VA if you know of anybody even with a garage w electricity while repair is happening. Not sure how I can afford a motel room w the pups and the repair.
Please help us. We are desperate here.
I need to fill up the tank again to keep the fans running.

Found a mechanic to work on my car Monday morning. Have to get a room Sunday , Monday and Tuesday, possibly Wednesday if it’s not done in time. I will have car towed so I don’t have to leave the pups. Hopefully they can drop it back to me since I don’t know anybody here in Christiansburg. Please pray it’s not too expensive and that I can find a room that will take my dogs. At least I got a mechanic to fit me into his schedule. I know I am still short funds unless I get a miracle or 2. Hopefully the parts will be available fast as well. I just need to be out of this heat with the pups. I am a walking prickly heat creature for the past month and it’s getting worse.

Update. Definitely need a motel room for a week for my transmission to get checked out. Not to mention the repair. Any suggestions as to agencies that could help with either. I’m stranded near Christiansburg, VA. Please share this post and if you can please help. Car temps are hot in the sun parked on pavement. Trying to find shady area to move van to until I have the funds for motel and repair. The therapy dogs and I have brought so much love and joy to so many over the years. Still need to rehome several. If you know of anybody wanting or needing a therapy ShihTzu. I have one a year and a half old. Very smart black & white male, and a year old black brindle with some white just turned 1. Both those boys are standard sized. One girl medium sized gold and white, a set of white and lt gold small twin boys, and a brindle lavender, gold grey small boy. All these are AKC. Also have medium girl gold white w long black eyelashes and tips,standard gold used to be brown w black masking boy, standard white and gold w black tips boy . These are not registered. All therapy dog trained. Wormed but in need of shots.
