Getting work done while putting in the steps 😈👟

Young Shera on her treadmill, building endurance and adding muscle — me on my walking pad right beside her. Then a run outside, and Bravo — retired, but still first back with the toy. 💪

Getting ready for the real training ahead, one step at a time. ❤️

IGP TRACKING - The quiet side of IGP...

Tracking doesn’t have the noise or excitement of the protection field, and it usually doesn’t get the same attention.
But I love what it shows about both, the dog's talent and handler's skills🤓

Patience. Focus. Independence. Trust. Endurance and stamina to maintain that quality of work for a long period of time. That combination is unique to IGP tracking.

There is something very different about watching a dog settle into the track, work through a problem, and make decisions without being micromanaged every second — and then be able to maintain that same consistency and keep working for a long period of time.
I’m not a breeder, but when I’m looking for my next competition puppy, one of my first questions is always:
How are the parents tracking in IGP?
That tells me a lot about the working qualities I care about.
Tracking is quieter.
But it teaches you a lot.
Often, the quiet work is where the best lessons are.
And sometimes the best reward after all that serious work is a good roll in the tracking field — even at the FCI World Championship, regardless of the outcome. 😂

Got the photos of She-Ra's BH! ❤️🐾

We did it! My baby girl earned her BH at the AWMA South Regional Championship!

From training sessions to the regional trial field… every step is part of the journey.

There is something special about stepping onto the field with a young dog you've been developing, testing your training, and seeing if your partnership comes together when it counts.

Every dog teaches us something, and every journey is different. There are good training days, frustrating days, little breakthroughs, and moments when everything finally comes together.

What I love most about IGP, it isn't just about earning titles, trophies or placements. While that is the important final destination, the journey is the process of building a partnership, learning to understand each other, and raising a dog grow into everything they're capable of becoming.

It's also about who you choose to walk that journey with, and I have the best D & C family and OG Bravo little village here in FL.
Christina and Diamond - 👀, I'm smiling 😊
Special THANK YOU to Mia Skogster, for not giving up on She-Ra's heeling 🦒🤓 😜😂

I'm so proud of my girl, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter of our journey together.

One milestone down… now the fun ahead! ❤️

Good training is not a flawless perfect session. Good training is when learning happens and each session has a purpose

The impressive picture isn’t built overnight, but is built from very small details and decisions.

Great training is when each and every team is moving along consistently and improves one session every time each and every time and that’s how our IGP group rocks 💥
If you are in SW FL, and want to learn more , just comment IGP 😁
