Themis graduated yesterday. She was highly reactive 7 lessons ago. Her owner can now relax at a park while dogs go by. There are still some triggers but her owner now has the skillset to diminish those behaviors. It's all about progress not perfection. Training is a lifetime relationship project. Like any relationship it takes clear communication and patience.

🎓🐾 Look who graduated… INDY! 🐾🎓

When Indy first started training, this little Mini Aussie was extremely reactive and very insecure around children, strangers, and visitors in the home. Every day, the environment felt overwhelming, and she spent so much time focused on the “what ifs” around her.

Fast forward to today… 💙

Through engagement work, confidence-building, public outings, and learning to focus on her humans rather than the outside chaos, Indy has made HUGE progress. We focused on creating joy in the environment instead of fear — teaching her that she doesn’t have to worry about every sound, person, or movement around her.

🐾 Stay calm & grounded
Dogs feed off your energy. Keep your movements slow and your voice steady.

🐾 Step in front of your dog
Place yourself between your dog and the approaching dog. This builds trust and adds a layer of protection.
