The vision: Up to 10 dogs, all friends and buddies hanging out having a good time! Whether we're going on walks, learning new commands and how to settle, playing with one another, or doing mental stimulation games, your dog is bound to have fun!!

In August of 2025, I had embarked on a journey of learning a new skill- doing haircuts on dogs!
I was taught by Coleen Lupo/Combs who is multi-certified in teaching people to safely and properly groom dogs.

It's been amazing! As being a dog trainer, I'm able to tell when a dog doesn't like something, I can encourage the dog to tolerate grooming and be calm. I have helped many dogs at least tolerate the process.
It's been really sweet gaining the trust of these dogs.

Videos of Dennis being excited to get brushed. I met him when he was only 4 months old and have trained him to remain calm during the whole grooming process.

At the moment, I currently have everything I need to bathe, dry, and do haircuts at my place. Bring your dog to me, drop them off, I'll do what I do, call and let you know when they're ready for pick up!

I also do house-call grooming for people with special circumstances (ex: can't drop of dog at my location, older dogs that would prefer the comfort of their home, and puppies who don't have all their vaccinations yet, etc)

Learn how to communicate effectively, keep their attention and motivation, and overall enjoy training your dog ! Once it's fun for you and your dog, it helps take the stress away. Even five minutes a day is better than no training a day!

Good morning! Two of the services offered by Rae’s Good Dogs: Doggy Daycare and Dog Boarding!

What is doggy daycare/boarding like?

Since this is a home-based business, the ultimate goal is for my home to be your dogs second home! Whenever you have to go out of town, on vacation, or just need someone to watch your dog for the day, contact me and let’s get talking about it!

Mabel (the Wired Hair Jack Russel Terrier) will tell you that every day is a fun structured day! They’re not just thrown in a yard or a kennel and on their own. They’re with me, getting a good balance of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and settling time.

Think of this as a place your dog goes to hang out with their friends, kept safe, calm, comfortable, and come home tired. 😁
