OK. I have to admit it. There's a little bit of drama going on here at CCL. Cassie, that gorgeous dog in the first picture with her gorgeous forever human, just had a positive ultrasound. Yipppee! The drama? We don't know for sure who her baby daddy is!! You see Cassie has a tendency to have rather irregular heat cycles. She was bred to Thurman Munson - naturally! This is quite an accomplishment for Thurman as Cassie is a 50 pound standard, and he is just 25 pounds. As I'm sure I've mentioned before, Thurman is very motivated when it comes to breeding! 🤣 Well, he got the job done . . twice, and we thought we were done, but Cassie became mysteriously interested in breeding again a week or so later. We decided we better try with a different boy, Knoxx, the stunning chocolate guy in the middle. And he bred Cassie . . .twice. Now here is the drama part, not only who is the daddy, but which puppies belong to which daddy? That's right; some of the puppies in this litter could be red mediums with Thurman as the father and some could be chocolate or black or red standards with KNoxx as the father! Pups will all be DNA tested so we know for sure. Stay tuned to see which daddy Cassie's puppies belong to! This is Cassie's last litter, and she sure is going out of the breeding program with a bang (pun intended!) 🤣🤣🤣
