Trouble had her sweet babies yesterday!
She brought them into the world with ease and hardly even whimpered during labor !
They are big fat, beautiful, healthy babies, and I couldn’t be more excited about these sweet little gold pups !

Trouble and Miles are due to have little ones this week… we expect this litter to be all gold in color. And Since Miles is a hidden Merle, we will be testing to see which ones are Merle’s as well for those of you that are on the list that would like breeding rights .
We currently have a full waitlist on this litter but that is subject to change later on.
It basically it just means that the people that we have talked to so far that have wanted to be on the list for this litter will be taken into consideration, first and notified first .

You are the best boy and very loving.
You were a Thanksgiving baby 11 years ago.
I’m thankful today for you and your parents and your sweet pups who have brought so much joy to many families.
Thanks for being a cow dog when needed and a gentle boy all in one.

Just one generation ago, if a dog growled while eating, people said,

“Hey! Don’t bother him while he’s eating.”

And that was it.

We respected the warning.

We understood the dog was simply communicating.

Today?

That same dog gets corrected, labeled, or, even worse…

euthanized.

Somewhere along the way, we stopped allowing dogs to say

“No.” We stopped giving them the space to express fear,

discomfort, or uncertainty.

We expect them to be perfectly happy, perfectly calm, and

perfectly tolerant 100% of the time.

But here’s the truth:

Dogs deserve the right to feel. They deserve the right to

communicate. And a growl is not an act of aggression, it’s a sentence. It’s information.

It’s a dog saying, “I’m not okay right now.”

We’ve lost all nuance. If a dog is anything other than silly, social, and sunshine-on four legs, we slap the label “AGGRESSIVE” on them.

People…please…listen to your dogs.

They are communicating with you in the only way they know how.

Honor that.

Learn from it.

And give them back the right to speak.

Lexi’s babies arrived on Monday!
7 girls and 1 boy.
All the puppies are doing great and
Lexi is enjoying her special meals!
Cal plus helps her make lots of good milk!
All puppies are on hold until some more of our litters arrive!

Update… I saw this morning that she was adopted !!

Louisiana people… in case anybody is looking for an older pup to give a home to.

♥️🐶This beautiful girl is Nym, a 2-year, 4-month-old Border Collie, weighing 35lbs., who recently came back to us. Her previous family loved her dearly but couldn’t give her the time she deserved—she was spending up to 10 hours a day in a kennel after a change in their schedules. Her owner said she’s house-trained and great with dogs, cats, and kids, and he was heartbroken to bring her back.

Nym is now up front and available for adoption, waiting patiently to find a forever home where she can get all the love and time she deserves. ♥️🐶🏡

Update… went home
Kip’s family had to cancel so he’s on the hunt for a new home again. He’s a sweet boy and sleeping through the night with out accidents in a crate. He’s a sweet boy and will follow you anywhere!

Last boy to be introduced is our Blue Boy!
He’s an active working boy, who keeps himself impeccably clean… but loves a good adventure . he’s extremely loving and always happy.
His babies are incredibly smart and Athletic!
Thank you to his breeder in Minnesota for letting me have this sweet boy!

Cooper my sweet boy… it was love at first sight when I flew to north Carolina to get you … you are a water loving , playful gentle boy who loves everyone.
You always have the biggest smile for the camera . And you will sit anywhere with your eyes closed as long as somebody is petting you. You love your children and will even try to nurse them even though you don’t have the right parts to do it. 😆
Your puppies have brought so much joy to so many people who have wanted a sweet family dog.
I know that you would let anybody be your mom, but I’m glad that it’s me and I’m glad you’re here bringing balance to this crazy border collie farm!

I sure do love my Charlie boy.
He gives human like hugs … he’s gentle with the pups … he’s always kind to other animals and other dogs.
He hugs a lot of our visitors and if you don’t get a hug He’s will still always be kind.
He’s so much like his daddy Jack and his grandpa Bonzo. 🩵🩵🩵🩵
He’s one in million and I’m glad I get to be his favorite person.
