This week one of the bigger dogs killed one of my small dogs. He'd never shown any aggression or prey aggression. He has been here 3+ months. He's been separated since it happened. He doesnt understand what happened to his good life. He's super anxious being crated away from everyone. He's thrown up multiple times from the stress. 

I'm really struggling with this. She didn't deserve this ending. He showed no signs of dog aggression. He had issues in the shelter with some staff. He'd come a long way in his time with me. My only issue was touching his collar and I planned on working with the trainer. He was fine with the slip leash. This is why its slo important to socialize early. Not all damage can be undone. I honestly believe he was thrown outside and nothing was done with him. With asian dogs, its even more important to socialize early. They can be very untrusting if not socialized. 

I am thankful he got to experience a pet life. He discovered toys and was very excited over them. He loved running around the yard sniffing all the smells. And he loved the ac indoors.

I have an appointment scheduled Friday but the outstanding bill must be paid first plus the euthanasia cost which is $150. They've been very patient with me with the bill. This dog had Non-Anesthetic Teeth Cleanings every 6 months since 1 year of age. Owner came to us (I worked at a veterinary dental specialty clinic) after seeing blood in food bowl. 18 teeth were abscessed. Owner was devastated because she thought she was doing what was best for her dog. This picture shows that the crown was clean but, the real problem was below the gumline. The danger of this type of cleaning is that the owner thinks the teeth are clean but, the infection is hidden. Cleaning below the gumline and dental X-rays can only be done under anesthesia. Education to pet owners is so important!

My back hasn't been happy this week. I got a notice walmart delivered my new ice pack. Fedex must've came right before. Because of my back, I haven't brought in the crates yet. Thanks to Eileen for Target. Thanks to I think Laura for Chewy 2 bags of Taste of the wild. On my list is cleaning around the package box and cleaning the package box. It needs hosed out and sprayed with bug spray. I was terrified it would be full of spiders and its getting that way. Most drivers just put boxes on top of it anyways. This keeps the ants off the food bags.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a grabber thing? I ordered one and the two sides dont touch. I need it to pick up trash the dogs got go. The one I got is only for objects that aren't thin. Or is that not a thing?

Basically same as last week. 150 was donated. 1 crate was purchased. 3 crates donated. If anyone could help, it would really be appreciated.

I need to cut all the stumps down to the ground. Fred hurt himself running in the yard. He cut his foot. I can do this with the weedeater. There's an attachment with heavy blades. I need the attachment and at least one battery.

I need to order gas tanks. I have 3 gallon one but I'll have to get rides so id like to get as much as possible at once.

I need to order pig food. I need both types of dog food. Ill added all the wish lists. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Roux is excited to report she finally has some good curves. She's down 40 lbs with prescription weightloss food. This is why I'll always say its worth it. It gets that weight off faster and the dog isn't starving. The vet had said to reassess at 120 lbs. I do think that'll be close to her correct number. She needs a new owner that will never overfeed her again.

She's also excited to report she knows she's a Boerboel. I just didn't see it.

She is 6 years old. She is heartworm negative. She had perfect bloodwork. She had a good exam. I do see some slight arthritis but that's expected with age and being overweight. She's up to date on vaccinations, heartworm prevention and flea prevention.

She's seriously the perfect dog. She gets along with all dogs including a 5 lb dog. She's crate trained but can also be left free in the house. She's never once pottied in the house. She'll paw at the door to ask to go out. If dinner is late, she'll bark to let me know. She never meets a stranger. She was very excited to see a friend's 5 year old son. She likes to lay her head on me. She's very mellow. She goes exploring the big yard by herself. She's not a velcro dog. She's perfect on the leash. She knows sit, down, come and paw. She has been professionally trained by Canis Intergrated Behavior Sol KC Singleton will be available if needed. I honestly doubt he'll be needed but he's there.
