McCadden Show Stables & Seventh Farm had a great start to our spring show series!!

🥇Emily & Red - Champion 2’9” Mod Hunters
🥇Kirsten & Quincy- Champion Masters
🥈Lisa & Pork Chop- Reserve Masters
🥈Maddie & Komet- Masters- and their first show together!!
🥉Nicky & Porky- 3rd Jumpers
🥇Emily & Red- 1st Mini Medal and qualified for finals
🥇Isabella & Vince- 1st Medal and qualified for finals
🥇Isabella & Joey- 1st 1.10m and 6th Stake
🏅Fudge, Con Coeur & Beckett showed in low level open classes and all continued to make great progress and they all placed! And they all made some fantastic photos!!

Congratulations to all our riders, we are so excited for a very fun 2026 season!!

Day 4- same flowers, water jump, etc + rider

He is growing in confidence everyday. He is starting to feel empowered to take initiative and go to the obstacles rather than run away. The foundation has been built!!

Day 3- Developing self initiative and adding the weight of the saddle.

Re-training horses requires untangling the knot, finding the gaps and then gracefully educating the horse. I prefer if at the end the horse acts like it was their own idea!!

Day 2- He is still a little scared and reactive but is rapidly growing in confidence and trust. My goal is to get him to feel brave and confident and have self initiative. These things take time and patience, but also require us to show up for him daily!!
