Past away today, about 8am, after overnight complications, at the vet office. We are grateful for the Ely Vet Clinic and the care provided.

Diagnosed with hypothyroidism and an infection of gas gangrene from a small opening, on her front elbow.
Mama Roxy would have been 9 in May and we are crushed.

Her legacy of 34 pups will live on, we couldn't have asked for a better Mama, the best puppies and memories that won't be forgotten. It was a privilege to be a part of Roxy's journey.

Dooley the STUD awaiting Nova, both are 4 and it's been a quiet night, not love at first sight.

I hope they understand the assignment!

Introducing Cain's Dakota Reign

Dakota means friend, friendly or allies and known for bravery.
Reign: to go after something and take ahold of it, queen of the throne.

A few weeks ago, we set out to find Dooley a mate and join our tribe. We took a drive down to Great River Labs, in Lake City and chose this beauty, whelped 11-12-24.
Dakota is sweet and smart and is transitioning very well. She is easy to love and likes her belly rubbed. Always ready to go outside and she likes long naps.

We lost our Sire Riley Cassanova in October, he passed quickly, at home it hit us all hard, but he was ready. He would have been 11 this January.
He loved Roxy and they had 4 litters, whelping 34 lovely puppies, we kept #34 to continue his legacy.
He loved to grouse hunt and brought much love which helped us all through our rough times.
