This is the Quality Control team at Maggie’s Market. Unfortunately, the cutie on the right—our special little Greta—has developed a debilitating fear of cooking. Her dad accidentally set off the smoke detector a few months ago while cooking breakfast, and ever since then Greta has become VERY scared every time the stove, oven, or microwave turns on. She shakes terribly and hides in the laundry room for hours every time we cook 😔

So because of this, I’m saddened to say that next weekend’s market at Warrior Brewing Company will be the only one I’ll be able to do this season, and I’ll be hanging up my apron for the time being. My days in the kitchen baking all day are just too traumatic for our special little girl, and I just can’t put her through that anymore.

I’ll have 6 varieties available at the market next weekend, and whatever product I have left I’ll have available at a pop up stand in Two Harbors afterwards. And if Greta’s little quirk improves, I’ll hit the kitchen again when I can. But judging by her other quirks, I’m not holding my breath 😂

Sunday food prep for the Carlson pups! Maggie, Greta, and Jersey get either broth or food topper (like this) mixed in their every meal. Not only does it help picky-eater Greta actually eat her food, but it’s providing them all with an extra punch of protein, fiber, and vital nutrients that help keep them strong and healthy 💪

3 simple ingredients: Ground turkey, green beans, and 100% chicken broth (no salt or onion added)
