I had so much fun this afternoon working with Link Centre, presenting for ! This is not my most flattering picture, and I don't intend to use it for future promotional purposes. That said, I hope that the training information I delivered was useful!

There are so many things to consider with animal behavior as we go back to some semblance of "normal life." If you have taken in a pet as a foster or adopted family member this last year, good for you! You have helped a needy animal in a crazy time! However, you may have concerns about what happens when everyone goes back to work and school. You may be wrestling with behavior issues you aren't quite sure how to handle.

I have always loved a puzzle. Since I was a little girl, I would get completely transfixed on a jigsaw puzzle, or a crossword puzzle, or those old logic puzzles where you had to figure out the pattern. Did you know that your pet also can love a puzzle? Puzzle toys use mental energy in strategizing how to solve for the treat. Puzzle toys are a great way to keep your pet stimulated and challenged, and can be a great way to redirect energy that could otherwise be used in destructive behaviors.

I don't have anything good to say about retractable leashes. There are dozens of reasons to NOT use them. But I have even less good to say about a distracted owner who would allow this to happen. I am grateful that hero came along just in time1
