Opossums may look funny to lots of people but they are beneficial to have around. They are passive and never look for a fight. They don’t get rabies and they eat ticks, bugs, spiders, rodents, snakes, and dead rotten things. Just let them go in their way if you see them :-)

Gem and her husband are packing up and she starts at the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine in a few weeks and Levi will be here for two more weeks then leaves for the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in Stillwater. Was able to remove a fish hook from the throat of a softshell turtle. Evidently he liked the bait. Back to his pond.

UPDATE: POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED!!!

Forest Trails is currently experiencing a power outage. We are OPEN and caring for our boarders and we can still see appointments. The PHONES are also out. Patience is appreciated as we work through this outage.
