National Veterinary Technician Week is October 18-24, and we'd love to recognize the incredible individuals who make up our veterinary support team.
While our doctors are often the face of patient care, our technicians and assistants are the heart of what happens behind the scenes. They advocate for patients, provide compassionate nursing care, assist during emergencies and procedures, educate clients, and help keep our hospital running smoothly 24 hours a day.
We want to spotlight:
Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs)
These licensed professionals complete veterinary technology programs and pass both national and state examinations. They also complete continuing education annually to maintain their licensure.
