We absolutely LOVE when people donate clean, safe, usable bird cages to Paradise Parrot Rescue. 🦜❤️ Those cages can make a huge difference for birds in need!

But when a cage comes in absolutely filthy, rusted, unsafe, or beyond saving… there’s only one solution:

🚜 WE CRUSH IT! 💥😂

Every bird deserves a clean and safe place to live—and some cages are better off in the dumpster!

🦜❤️ ANGEL HAS BEEN ADOPTED! ❤️🦜

We are so incredibly happy to announce that Angel has found her wonderful forever home! 🏡💕 She was lovingly adopted by an amazing family, and we couldn’t be happier for this sweet girl and her new beginning.

This is what rescue is all about—giving these incredible parrots a second chance and finding them homes where they will be loved and cherished. ❤️

🦜💔 THIS IS WHAT NEGLECT LOOKS LIKE. PLEASE SHARE.

This poor cockatiel came to Paradise Parrot Rescue after suffering from severe neglect. Its beak was so incredibly overgrown that it was curling dangerously toward its own neck and throat. 😢

And the cage it was living in? It was beyond saving. It was so filthy and disgusting that there was only one appropriate ending for it…
🚜 We crushed it with the tractor and threw it straight into the dumpster.

No bird deserves to live like this.

Now this little cockatiel has a fresh start—with a clean environment, proper grooming, good nutrition, and most importantly, people who care. ❤️🦜

Meet Phoebe, our beautiful 20-year-old female Rose-breasted Cockatoo (Galah)! 🌸

Phoebe is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl who absolutely LOVES attention. She enjoys head scratches, cuddles, and being close to her people. She is so trusting and gentle that she even allows you to carefully pick her up with two hands. ❤️

Phoebe does have only one foot, but that certainly doesn't stop her from being an amazing bird! She simply needs a home that understands her special needs and is willing to provide a safe, comfortable environment designed for her.

We are looking for a very special owner for a very special bird. 🥹❤️ Someone who will see Phoebe for what she truly is—a wonderful companion with an incredible amount of love to give.
