We've been busy on our little homestead, prepping the veggie beds,,,, tilling more beds 😫🌼

🍄Mushrooms are coming in like crazy and I got to spend a little fun time with the chickens ofcourse! 🐔 They've been blessing us with plenty of eggs 🥚🙌

Our 🥦 Brasicas have all been planted in 2 beds and netted (for cabbage worm/moth protection).
Asparagus, potatoes, and beans are planned to go in this weekend. Plenty more to come in the weeks to follow.

Added some extra photos of the potager garden, from last season so we can see progress into this season as it develops 😍

For those of you who currently follow my business here I wanted to share some upcoming exciting updates!

- We are currently rebranding, so you'll see our logo and verbiage change in the next couple weeks.

- The company is also restructuring, becoming an LLC and changing names in the process to "Lady Bird Farms". The reason for this is when the business originally started it was solely focused on growing culinary mushrooms all of which were cultivated indoors at the time. The business has now moved to my small homestead in Buckley, MI where it will be expanding to not only indoor mushrooms, but also mushrooms cultivated and farmed outside, as well as selling other fresh produce, eggs, crafts and hopefully meat in the future. I needed to restructure to an agricultural business category so that I can offer more than one specific product from the homestead.

We are currently working on getting all compliance licenses needed for our endeavors with the State of MI.

Harvested a crazy big Black King Trumpet oyster yesterday 😁 We also got some nice pioppinos that came in and my chestnuts are all making a nice appearance finally. Hoping for an exciting harvest this weekend!

Finally back up and running after a big move! Settled in at the new place and producing some beautiful flushes to kick off new beginnings.
