Tidiness and perfection in the garden isn't the only kind of beautiful 🌼

Can we normalize showing our gardens the way they actually look?

I'm a little tired of seeing nothing but perfectly staged garden photos—freshly w**ded, every tool put away, not a leaf out of place. They're beautiful, but they don't tell the whole story.
Some of us work full-time. Some of us run a side business, some of us do both and homestead on top of that! Some of us are raising families. Most of us are simply trying to steal 30 minutes here and there to dig, plant, water, prune, w**d and enjoy the space we've created.
My garden isn't always picture-perfect. Sometimes there's a wheelbarrow sitting in the middle of the yard, empty pots waiting to be put away, w**ds that got away from me (soooo many w**ds), or a shovel leaning against the chicken coop....And you know what? That's what a loved garden looks like.

A lived-in garden. A real garden.

So here's to the messy gardens, the half-finished projects, and the real people behind them.
Because messy can be beautiful too. 🌿💚

First bloom of the year!! She's cute but not true to variety (supposed to be Rhubarb and Custard). We will keep an eye and see if she straightens out since first blooms can be wonky, but with no petaloids, chances are super slim.
