🎃👻 Happy Halloween from Swamp Rabbit Animal Hospital! 🐾🧡

The dress code at SRAH took a pretty aggressive turn, although the level of professionalism around here remains about the same as any other day.

We hope your Halloween is full of tricks, treats, and that your pets forgive you for whatever you made them wear. 🍬🎃

Now we want to see YOUR Halloween spirit! 👀 Drop a picture of your pets (or yourselves!) in costume in the comments!

Stay safe, have fun, and HAPPY HOWL-O-WEEN from your SRAH crew! 🧡🖤🎃

🐾 Tech Week: Dress Up Your Boss Edition 🐈‍⬛💗

One of our Tech Week activities involved dressing up Dr. Sam, and naturally, we decided the woman who spends her days taking care of animals should spend a little time being one.

And thus, Dr. Sam the cat was born. 🐱

From the pink wig to the whiskers and fluffy tail, she was truly the picture of professionalism. 💕 But the BEST part? Watching her walk into exam rooms to see clients with absolutely ZERO context or explanation. Just your veterinarian, dressed as a giant pink cat, ready to discuss your pet’s medical needs like this was a perfectly normal day.

We’d like to thank Dr. Sam for being such a good sport and for being fully committed to the role without missing a beat, although we’re starting to suspect she enjoyed this a little more than she’d like to admit. 👀

We’re not saying she’s going to start wearing the tail regularly, but we’re also not ruling it out.

Thank you for your service, Dr. Meowmantha. 🫡🐱

We love us some Dr. Sam!

Okay, if you’ve ever needed a vet who actually feels like family... meet Dr. Sam. 🐾

Dr. Sam owns Swamp Rabbit Animal Hospital in Travelers Rest with her husband Brian, where she cares for dogs and cats through every stage of life: wellness visits, vaccines, dental care, surgery and everything in between.

But here’s what you don’t see on a website. Her team calls her a phenomenal teacher and a boss who treats them like family. One family drove EIGHT hours to see her after their dog spent five days in an emergency hospital with no answers. Within an hour, she had him in surgery and found the fix. 🧡

And she doesn’t stop at the clinic doors. Swamp Rabbit started the Jingle Paws Parade, and it’s back down Main St. in TR on Nov. 28! 🎄

Right now, they’re hosting a pumpkin contest! 🎃
🎃 Drop off: Oct. 19–23 at the clinic during clinic hours
🗳️ Vote: week of Oct. 26, at the clinic + on Facebook
🏆 Winner: revealed Oct. 31, with a $100 gift card grand prize
Carved or painted, anything goes. Just keep it family-friendly!

Why does ATG have partners? Because we only partner with local businesses we know, use and trust. Their support keeps our events, guides and community content going. (We say no a lot more than we say yes. 😉)

🥕🐇Our amazing Swamp Rabbit Animal Hospital crew took a break from the clinic to take on The Game Show Challenge — and let’s just say the competition was fierce (and the laughs were nonstop).😺

From the smiles to the name tags still on, you can tell this group knows how to work hard and play hard. Nothing builds teamwork quite like buzzing in fast, strategizing under pressure, and cheering each other on.

Dr. Sam and Brian are so proud of this crew. The animals are lucky to have you, ❤️Jordan, Halley, Katie, Augi, Grace and Tori❤️… and so are we.

Who’s ready for the rematch? 😉

Happy Boss’s Day to two people who mean more to us than we could ever put into words. 💚

Calling Sam and Brian our “bosses” doesn’t even begin to describe what they are to us. They’re our family, our biggest supporters, and two people we love beyond measure.

They’ve given us so much more than a place to work. They’ve created a family where we feel genuinely loved, valued, and cared for every single day. The way they show up for us, believe in us, and pour their hearts into everything they do is something we will never take for granted. They are truly the kind of people you feel lucky just to know, much less get to work alongside.

We are endlessly thankful and beyond blessed to call them ours. We hope they feel even half the love they give us every day, because they deserve the world and then some.

We love you both more than you’ll ever know. And while these pictures may not scream “professional” leadership, we wouldn’t trade these two for anything. 😂💚

Happy Boss’s Day, Sam and Brian! You mean the world to us all!!

Love, Augi, Jordan, Halley, Grace, Katie, and Tori 💕✨

🎉🐾 IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY!!! 🐾🎉

Somehow, Swamp Rabbit Animal Hospital is officially ONE YEAR OLD! (and so are our boys, Popcorn and Cricket) 💚🥳

When we first opened our doors, we could only hope our little clinic would grow into something special. What we never expected was just how quickly this community would make us feel right at home. To say you’ve kept us busy would be an understatement, and we genuinely couldn’t be more grateful for it. 💚

Every appointment, every recommendation to a friend, every familiar face, and every new furry patient has helped make this first year better than we ever imagined. We wouldn’t be here without all of you, and we hope you know just how much that means to us.

And because no birthday is complete without presents, we’re giving YOU one! 🎁

🎂 From now until October 31st, come in for your appointment, tell us HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and receive $25 OFF your bill! 🎂

It’s our little way of saying thank you for making our first year so incredible!

Here’s to one year down and hopefully many, MANY more years of loving your pets like they’re our own. Thank you for trusting us with your babies and for keeping our schedules full and our hearts even fuller.

Happy 1st Birthday to us! 🥹💚🐾
