WE HAVE SOME SUPER EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE!!!

Dr. Kelly Johnstone is a dedicated veterinarian with over 11 years of experience in the field. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, and has developed a passion for emergency medicine and internal medicine, often collaborating with colleagues on challenging cases. Dr. Johnstone professional interests include soft tissue surgery and for caring for geriatric patients. She strives to ensure that all animals are as comfortable as possible during routine visits, hospital treatments, and surgeries, both in the clinic and at home. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Johnstone enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding and gardening. She values time spent with family and friends and loves to travel with her husband. A fun fact about her is that fall is her favorite season, and she eagerly anticipates the college football season each year. At home, Dr. Johnstone beloved pet’s include two dogs—Boots, a Pitbull, and Maggie, a Corgi—three cats named Arby, Bibs, and Milo, and two horses, Sugar and Sid.

GETTING TO KNOW US!

Burlingame Rd Animal Hospital (BRAH) started as a small animal practice at the antique store in July 1986 by Don Hrenchir DVM. In December 2000 we moved to this 6,000 square foot building where we now have four full time veterinarians. BRAH also has a fantastic support staff of 20 that includes RVTs, receptionists, and kennel techs/veterinary assistants.

Our veterinary care includes mostly cats and dogs although we do have a few other types of furry (and not so furry) friends that come see us! The care that our veterinarians provide includes preventative, maintenance and emergency services. We also do x-rays, ultrasounds, and bloodwork right here in the clinic! Our doctors perform surgeries in the mornings Monday-Friday, and patients are seen Monday-Saturday. We try not to turn away walk-ins and emergencies during business hours as long as we have the staff available to help.

We average about 2,300 visits per month and 49 new clients each month. No matter how many patients we have we strive to give the best care we can to them no matter if they are here for nail trims or surgeries!
