raduates. Dr Joseph Kamer, who specializes in Complicated Surgery and is our practice owner. His other associate Dr. Joshua Hahn, has a special interest in educating clients on the importance of nutrition and preventative medicine. As our name indicates, we have a state-of-the-art Surgical Suite that can accommodate any of your pet’s surgical needs. Only the latest and safest anesthetic is used on your pet to ensure that his/her health isn’t compromised. All surgeries are performed with sterile techniques just like in a human hospital. We are also equipped and experienced in a variety of complex procedures. Among these are major orthopedic repairs, total hip replacements, cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, complicated abdominal surgeries and mass removals as well as laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. Be assured that your pet will receive only the finest treatment methods. Our hospital is fully equipped with a laboratory and complete blood diagnostic system. Time is critical in most cases, and in order to ensure that your pet receives the appropriate medical treatment if he or she becomes sick, our experienced technicians can run complete diagnostic laboratory tests and have results in less than 30 minutes. Veterinary Medical and Surgical Hospital also provides routine services including dentistry, vaccinations, prescription flea control products, and heartworm preventatives. We carry Hills Science Diet products, including prescription diets for animals with specific nutritional needs. In addition to major medical and surgical needs, we can also care for your pet's grooming and boarding needs. Our hospital offers full service grooming by Nicole and Katie who are experienced groomers of over 12 years. All size Kennels are available for boarding, as are climate controlled indoor kennel runs for the comfort of larger dogs. In the event that any problems arise while your pet stays with us, our animal care technicians will notify the doctors, and will work closely together to insure the greatest quality of care.
