We can offer low-cost spay/neuter prices because private donations and grants help off-set the true, higher cost of spay/neuter procedures. Humane Ohio believes that all animals should receive the highest quality veterinary care possible even if the services rendered are at a reduced cost. Our clinic uses state of the art instruments and equipment, all spay/neuter surgeries are performed by licensed veterinarians (DVMs) and every patient receives a brief physical exam and pain medication.

Giving Tuesday is almost here, and this is the perfect time to check whether your employer will match your donation to Humane Ohio. A match can instantly double your impact for pets who need safe and affordable care.

Cardinal Health is one example of a company with a matching gift program. Many employers in our region offer similar benefits, including Owens Corning, Fifth Third Bank, ProMedica, Dana Incorporated, and The Andersons, Inc. If your workplace participates, your Giving Tuesday donation could go even further.

Meet Maureen

Maureen is a sweet, resilient girl with a wobbly walk and a big heart. She has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which means her movements are uncoordinated, but she doesn’t let that slow her down or dampen her spirit. CH cats can live full, happy lives, and Maureen is no exception.

She’s looking for a home that understands her unique needs and appreciates her gentle personality. She does well with calm spaces, soft landings, and people who don’t mind a little extra wobble in their day.

Her adoption fee is only $25, and she is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Maureen is ready to bring joy, character, and a whole lot of love to the right family.
