Dog people have hearts of gold 🐶💛 It's officially time to slow down those raffle sales. Thanks to a very generous supporter, we have sold almost all tickets. Please text Stacey Jenkins Nichols at 504-232-0150 BEFORE sending Venmo payments. Please be patient for a response as it's a busy weekend, but tickets will be issued in the order of contact. Thanks for the constant support. The dogs appreciate your kindness!

Pearl.
I will be honest folks, I’m honestly running out of hope for Pearl finding a home. It’s extremely heartbreaking to have a dog like her who is doing her best to keep it together in foster homes that are honestly not ideal for her. She is a girl who wants to be with her people. She lights up when we get her out especially if she gets to be the only dog. She has learned to control her impulsive behavior around the small dogs while on walks but it’s work for her mentally the entire time to listen to me. She can’t enjoy watching TV on the couch or floor and she misses all the trips to the bathroom.
This is a good dog. She has had quite a bit of training work by her fosters. She is wonderful in the home, no chewing or anything, very housebroken and unless sick definitely a dog that will hold it all day if needed.
She crates well, doesn’t dig in her pen, isn’t an excessive barker but will certainly alert.
She is SUPER easy for vet work and baths. She gets drops in her ears and weekly baths and is great for nail trims as well. She is very friendly with humans and out in public easy to handle as long as you make sure no loose or uncontrolled dogs get close. She isn’t aggressive or reactive but she has prey/herding drive and will lock in on fast moving targets.
She is 5 yrs old and 65 pounds. She has some allergies we are managing with cleaning and cytopoint as well as a limited ingredient diet.
We would love a foster or adopter that can give her the individual attention she deserves. We will cover the cost of her allergies and food if needed.
We know there are dogs that are not adoptable but honestly Pearl isn’t one of them. Currently in Warrenton Virginia.

Currently fostering near New Orleans.

🐾 Meet Mo! 🐾

Mo is a handsome 4 yo German Shepherd mix looking for a home to call his own. His previous owner unfortunately had to rehome Mo due to a big change in his career and through no fault of Mo. Mo is fully vetted, neutered, potty trained, and friendly with guests. Most importantly, he’s a genuinely nice dog to have around.

Mo would make a great companion for someone who wants a walking buddy or a chill buddy to relax with in the house for some Mo relaxation time. He enjoys being around his people without needing life to be a nonstop party.

He’s still a work in progress in a few areas. I’m building his leash-manner foundations, working on self-regulation and confidence, and helping him become more comfortable with handling and grooming. He’s also learning how to play! He’s really opening up now. Sometimes he gets it, sometimes he’s still figuring out exactly what this whole “playing” thing is supposed to be. 😂

Mo needs someone willing to keep building on the foundation he already has and give him the consistency to continue becoming the best version of himself. That said, he’s already an awesome dude!

✅ Fully vetted
✅ Neutered
✅ Potty trained
✅ Guest friendly
✅ Learning leash manners
✅ Professional chill-time companion
🚧 Play skills currently under construction

If you think Mo might fit your home and lifestyle, reach out to learn more about him or set up a meet-and-greet. 🐕
